In our opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in Eugene. The food is always wonderful and the staff is helpful and quick to serve. We come from over a hour away, but will gladly make the trip to enjoy ourselves at this unique restaurant.
We have been loyal customers of Cafe Med since it opened. We come quite frequently and love the ambiance and the food. The servers and staff are friendly and know us as frequent customers. Last night Monday Dec 1st. at 6:30 was busy and they only had 2 waiters. We were the only table out in the atrium and we noticed our server wasn't as attentive as usual but acceptable. I'll chalk it up to the lack of enough servers. Our wine didn't come out until after our shared...
I have dined at the Med Cafe in the past, but stopped going for a while for no particular reason. My spouse and I decided to go last evening to celebrate my birthday, and even though they have changed the menu, it's still one of the best places to get very good Italian food. I particularly enjoyed their seared halibut. I'd also like to highlight their excellent service. Our server Sebastian was outstanding.
