The atmosphere reminds me of old-school Korean restaurants.
The owner was awesome.
The food was good. I would give it a 5 star if it was more of a Korean flavor and was not Americanized. But for what you get it was awesome.
Had the Yuk Gae Jang and Kimchee fried rice. Both were great.

Lunch special is a pretty good deal for 10.50.

This place was there for me at my worst days, thank you

Huge hit of nostalgia for me. A picture on the wall and the bowing dolls in 한복 on the counter are exactly the same as in my grandparents' house. Food was generously portioned and delicious! Not much in the way of 반찬 (side dishes) but the kimchi was really good. 사장님 silently corrected my rice and soup placement, which is the kind of bluntness I appreciate from my Korean elders. Absolutely plan to come back again.

The service was wonderful! Food was delicious! We celebrated our friends 49th birthday and had a great time! We will be back!

The food is amazing, I love the galbitang and the kimchi fried rice. However, I noticed that the older man treats Asian people differently. He is very nice to white people but to Asians he often cusses under his breath and shows disdain. (he doesn’t realize I am also Korean lol) To Asian people, just order to-go.

If you are Asian, dont come here because the man at the cashier will be mad at you whatever you do. Bad treatment and never checking on you if you’re not western customers. (I’ve come here three times, all bad services, and this time I was shouted!!??)

Awesome little hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant with a few Japanese options too! Very authentic tasting, including perfectly cooked dol sot, and the best jeuk-bokkum with tofu and kimchi I think I've ever had.

Note that if you order a spicy dish there are no "ratings" - it's Korean spicy however the cook likes it lol

Very authentic korean food, kind of a whole in the wall kind of restaurant. Needs some lobby upgrades
