Thank you for the rose when we left! The food was delicious. I had very tender lamb and my fiancé had perfectly cooked steak. I am very confused by the comments stating the food has no flavor. I’m from an Italian family and we season everything. Our food this evening was very flavorful. Price was a little inflated but it was worth it for a special evening. My cocktail was also delicious. We will definitely be back. Also, congratulations to the couple who got engaged this evening. We watched from the corner and it was a nice addition to the night, and a sweet moment to witness.

Walked in an the hostages came up to us rudely and said sorry not able to serve you. We saw open tables. I noticed that the customers were mostly white people in their 70s to 80s and I was with my son and his Black girlfriend felt really unwelcoming

Cafe Soriah has always been my go to for fine dining however my last experience left me disappointed. Ib (the owner) likes to prepare dishes out in the dining area and unfortunately we were seated near his food cart. This means we had to deal with eyelash searing pyrotechnics whenever he doused the saute pan with spirits. In addition, my ribeye steak came out only slightly warm and it was prepared medium well when I ordered medium. Our wine pours were very stingy (I'd say four oz, they should be six oz). By far the worst was that when it was time to leave and our waitress returned my coat it smelled like it had been stored in the kitchen duct work. It and my clothes just reeked on food smells. We headed home afterwards but if we had been headed out to a show I would have hated living with the smell for the rest of the evening. It took three days hanging outside for it to return to normal.

Unfortunately had a poor experience our first time at this restaurant. There was a large group that was taking up all the kitchens resources which left us waiting over an hour and a half for our main course food. Appetizers took almost an hour. The food wasn’t worth the wait with bland flavors and strange choices (like not serving calamari with any dipping sauce?)
The service was incredible and she apologized many times and comped several items on our bill. It wasn’t her fault she was just the messenger and she did everything she could to make it right. Will give it another shot one day but disappointed by our first impression.

I can’t believe it took me this long to eat here! Best restaurant in Eugene hands down. Old fashioned level service, food was top tier and the drinks were artfully crafted, all a rarity to find. I loved the old chef at King Estate and the previous chef at the country club - Cafe Soriah hits all the marks! They understand good food and a superb experience! Thank you for a perfect evening! Hint, make a reservation!

The food did not live up to its reputation. The bread was unheated and lacked flavor and texture. The shrimp dish i ordered was served with flavorless rice and a scoop of equally flavorless vegetables. The shrimp was well seasoned but didn't come with enough sauce to make the rice paletable. The dessert and service was very nice.

Had a great cocktail, and our server was on top of things. But boy, howdy, the food. The server brought bread and butter: plain sourdough and unsalted butter. Yum. And then I had what might be the single worst Caesar salad I've ever had; the dressing was bland. More or less just a wet pile of lettuce. Ordered a spread of pickles, hummus, pita, etc. Again, bland. I wouldn't even call it hummus -- hummus is typically made with more than *just* chickpeas. The other dip seemed to be pure tahini. Fortunately the pita was edible, but it was more or less store bought.

The running theme for the night: a lack of flavor. It made me worry I was suffering a brain injury that affected my tastebuds. Has the price of salt gone up? Lemons? For years I've heard great things about this place, and I suppose its reputation will remain a mystery. To be fair, it could be that I was just supremely unlucky. Your mileage may vary!

This is one of the best fine dining we have been ever in our lifetime! A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!! we stopped by Eugene overnight and googled one of the best restaurants in town, so we selected Cafe Soriah. Lamb Mediterranean was so delicious along with steamed rice, and yummy seasoned diced cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. Rack of lamb was so special for my spouse to enjoy eating. There were different fresh dark and light rye bread slices in the basket for appetizer while Guniess Black Stout was well-matched with. Cune Tempranillo, excellent light sweet red Italian wine was recommended, but it was very worthwhile for her to eat the lamb. The service was well-organized by three different servers (hostess, waitress, and waiter who brought hot dishes to us) in a timely fashion. Mint chocolate three layer cake was heavenly delicious for our dessert. It took plenty of time to eat, relax and observe with interest there. The value was surprisingly reasonable for that fancy food, however, we paid a very good tip for everything wonderfully. Fortunately, we made a late reservation and arrived there earlier, so the hostess said it did not matter and went ahead to get an available table for us. Its atmosphere was full of arts, mostly pictures for sale on the wall and

A restaurant worth visiting again and again! Every dish is prepared with care and packed with authentic Arabic flavors. Excellent service, warm atmosphere, and true Middle Eastern hospitality.

Customer service is amazing but the food was sub par. We were a group of 6 and alll ordered something different. No one was happy with their meal. Way too much saffron in the rice. Salmon over cooked all the dishes had too much sauce on them because the actual food was tasteless so they dump a ton of sauce on it to add flavor.
