Went for happy hour, atmosphere is great, service is great, cocktails were great, very good margarita (fresh and not sweet) , chips and salsa are really damn good, the tacos were kinda bland, I tried all 3 meat tacos on the happy hour menu and they all just didn't have any punch of flavor. The chicken taco was probably the best out of the 3 surprisingly, the pork belly was very greasy (I know pork belly is fatty) and not very flavor even with the green salsa, the beef one also didn't have much flavor it needed some lime and salt. We are hoping to go back and try their ceviche, more cocktails and the non happy hour tacos.
Vegetarian options: good selection of vegetarian tacos

Went for my friends 21st birthday couple nights ago. The place is aesthetically pleasing and has a very nice view. THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! Place was not packed out as it was a Monday night, took almost an hour to get our table, then another hour and half to get our food. The service was awful we were ready to order within 10 minutes being there and the servers would not take our orders, only drinks, and kept delaying us for an unknown reasons. Once finally ordered took another hour for our food to be served, just for it to taste like it was all made from canned goods, from the beans to the short ribs, all tasted very cheap and not well made. ALSO VERY SMALL PORTIONS FOR PRICE! Servers did not seem to mind that we were unhappy the whole time and didn’t talk to us or try to make our experience better. After all this being said I would give this place a 0 if that were possible. This place was absolutely unacceptable, and it felt like they were being rude on purpose. All in all I would never suggest this place to a friend or anyone, save your money and hit up many of the wonders that Eugene actually has.

Beautiful restaurant. Two people in my party got food poisoning from their shrimp ceviche. Called to ask about it, they didn’t answer and are still serving it to customers. included 20% gratuity which was generous for the service we received. Staff gave us bad attitude, forgot dishes, really disappointing. Plus it was expensive and was a birthday celebration that ruined the rest of the night because of bad shrimp.

The atmosphere is awesome! Service is great. The rooftop has an amazing view of Eugene.Sadly the food sucks. It really sucks. You can make better mexican at home. The tacos are solid, but most other dishes are very "meh". They could at least not use store bought chips for the nachos? There are so many minor changes that could be made to elevate the food and truly make it stellar. Service is great though!

It’s been a long while since I’ve had such an incredible experience. We arrived the Gordon Hotel to ride the elevator to the 7th floor to Carlitas.Upon arrival you’re greeted with blue walls and foliage lining a long hallway to the rooftop restaurant. The vibes are chill with minimal natural decor, leather looking barstools and an L shaped bar to the left of the “wait to be seated” sign. They have outdoor seating with a great views of downtown and the river. We sat inside because it was 85 outside. But from what I could se the view was incredible! We chose a window seat with an equally great view! The service was great, despite only having one bartender and one server! The place was clean and inviting.I ordered a passion fruit margarita with a tajin rum and it was delicious! We also ordered the chicken, salmon, carne asada and short rib tacos, all of which were absolutely delicious! Incredibly tender meat and fresh flavorful toppings! The green salsa was also delightful. We will definitely be back to explore the menu. This hidden gem is a true find in Eugene!

I have been to this restaurant about three times and every time it’s worse than the last. The menu is the best thing that they have besides the views, other than that the portion sizes for their meals are very small and their service is absolutely horrendous. I believe I can honestly say that it is the worst I have ever experienced.None of the food has ever come out at the same time and it tends to be cold. The restaurant could actually be really amazing, especially with its location being so great. But unfortunately the staff and the way they run the operation has absolutely ruined it.

The food was cold and it tasted like we could’ve made this at home.Ordered the mole nachos: cheese wasn’t hot and it was honestly basic, lacking flavor.Ordered a street taco: subpar.Ordered elote off the stick: so they put the corn over the mayo/crema mix and it was SO MUCH CREME. the ratio wasn’t good. Lacked chili. The servers flowers friendly and great. It was a clean place. Music was cool. But the food wasn’t it. :(

The drinks were great, they really know how to make a cocktail! However, the drinks we’re expensive and cost more than the food. The food was just sweet and lacking in flavor and the portions were small. As a latina and if you like mexican food then you’ll find that this place was really bland and lacking in spice flavors that mexican food should have :( The service overall was good and not too busy.

It gets busy so if you get overstimulated I don’t go on weekend evenings, but the prices are great, it has such a beautiful view and unique options for drinks and food. The staff was friendly and attentive as well even when it was busy.
