Alas, Caspian Mediterranean on 13th in Eugene has closed its doors. Here's hoping that they may reopen at another location in the near future as this was a reliable cafe with good food, good value, good prices.

This place is awful, and I love it. It is not good food. Sometimes, though, you get a very specific craving for BAD shawarma, and these guys always deliver. Kind of always feels like it's on the verge of closing. The back of house is terrible at their job though; thank god it's mostly just putting prepped food together instead of any cooking.

I went here to pick up an order and the man at the counter was incredibly rude. He had a beard and a black beanie, he didn’t say hi just asked if I had a to go. I said yes he went back got the food and slammed the food down smashing the plastic to go container. I was very confused by this because our exchange was so short. He handed me the food, said nothing to me. So I said have a good day and he interrupted yelling out an order even though there was one other person in the restaurant. I will never come here again or recommend it to anyone. It’s really not that hard to just say “hi”and “have a nice day”.

The Owner needs to buy help for the guy at the front desk. He is totally overwhelmed and it’s gonna start affecting the owners profits margins. If you loveThis food then you must wait. The owner won’t hire new help.

OMG this is not Mediterranean they don't have the garlic sauce when I asked a guy for the rice pilaf he said what is that that is crazy I wish you would have told me that from beginning

Such a disappointment.The atmosphere is dirty, there were flies swarming in the dining area.Customer service was great, food was unappetizing, sadly we left our meal mostly uneaten.Hummus was chunky and bland, rice was clumpy, the side salad was the only redeeming part but ya know, vegetables and dressing.

First and most importantly, the food is just bad. The hummus was bland, lumpy and not at all appetizing. The chicken was poorly cooked with mediocre seasoning. The lentil soup was mostly water with a sickly combination of mint and something that I couldn't recognize, but did not like.This is the only time I have ever just gotten up and left the majority of the food behind. It was that bad.Maybe college kids just have much lower standards, but this was awful.
Is Caspian mediterranean does food right. Plenty of vegetarian options. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Is plenty of parking Is between 13th and 14th just East of alder street. If you found this review to be helpful please like it.????????

One of my go-to lunch places, delicious kabob and shawarma, their salads are always super fresh and crisp, and their burgers and fries are good too - menu options for everybody (they do breakfast too!). Great customer service, and a nice outdoor space.
