I love this authentic Mexican restaurant. Great service quick and pleasant. They havr a large selection of Mexican dishes. Chips n salsa served for free before your order arrives at the table. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Great flavors.

The worst meal out in a long time. I eat at different restaurants 8-10x per month.
Food prepared poorly, presentation lacking, seriously overpriced, and wait staff was very nervous and not able to attend to typical, common courtesy needs.

We recently moved to the south side of Eugene and went looking for dinner and decided on Chapalas for take home dinner. The staff was super nice, the atmosphere was seemed chill for the short amount of time we had to wait cause the food came quickly. We spend $37 for our dinner which I feel is normal pricing. We’re pretty use to more seasoned Mexican moving up from living in California but will say the burritos were big, and very hearty, and I plan to explore the menu more the next time we visit. The food was packaged perfectly for a to go order. I would definitely recommend giving chapalas a shot for your next meal. They did have a sign saying not to park at the Asian market next door cause your car will be towed, but it seemed there’s more then enough parking in the back. Hope this review provides some help picking your next meal.

Lemonade is very watered down, have NO taste. Chips taste too oily, a lot of food but no taste at all. I ordered spicy shrimps and there was no spicy at all. I don’t think I’m coming back here, there’s better Mexican places out there. I don’t recommend this place.
Really good food!

Had lunch at Chapala's. The lunch specials were great with incredible prices. The service was the best, with gregarious wait staff who made me feel comfortable and at home. I had a tamale - enchilada combo and the food was delicious. I will be back for lunch as often as I can.

my bf went to get me some food and he ordered a small beef nacho with no tomatoes for takeout. somehow ended up with a large chicken nacho with tomatoes and an 9 dollar side of queso. total was 23 dollars when it should’ve been 13. idk just annoyed

The server we had was very friendly, and the shrimp enchiladas I ordered were really good, there wasn't much to them and I was hungry an hour or so after, that's why I didn't give it a full 5 stars for food. Would highly recommend.
