A lot of conflicting and older reviews so I wanted to put my two cents in! We ordered the Hunan chicken, potstickers, and fried rice. The chicken is pretty soggy and didn't stay crispy for long (it's fried) and the rice has no veggies (normally I see some in fried rice) and is very bland. I added soy sauce and garlic salt to practically everything. The potstickers ARE indeed doughy but they're not "raw". After seasoning somewhat at home it wasn't the worst meal but definitely wasn't great either.

The food was very old tasting. When the woman brought me my order in 7min ,I should have known it was not going to be a pleasant meal. Also since they are only doing takeout ,they don't give you the egg flower soup with the 13.dollar order. So I feel like they shouldn't charge the full $13. It should have only been $11 as the side of soup cost $2. ? I won't be going back for sure!!!!

Wanting to try something new that's nearby and easy to pick up, we decided on China Seas because the last reviews were all fairly positive. So this review is just for the food, we did not dine in so can't attest to staff or location. Though it would have been nice to be offered the option to pay over the phone. Anyway, we ordered pot stickers, wonton soup, Mongolian beef, chicken chow mein and broccoli chicken, with the sides of fried rice for the entrees. The total was around $60 which wasn't too bad. Opening all of the containers, everything looked really good. However, we were immediately disappointed by the pot stickers. I don't know what went wrong, but they were so bland and while the dough seemed hardly cooked, it almost seemed almost like it was going bad? The only way I could finish one was with the pot sticker dipping sauce they included. Usually pot stickers are my favorite thing. Not from here. The broccoli chicken looked gelatinous, which I've found sometimes on hot dishes with sauce when they get cold, but this was not the case here. And again, it looked very good but was very bland. Same to be said for the chicken chow mein. It was just blah. The positives with both dishes where the cuts and amounts of the chicken. But both were made more tolerable with soy sauce and sriracha. The only dish that I enjoyed on its own was the wonton soup. Salty chicken/beef broth perhaps? Lots of wontons. My husband said the Mongolian beef was ok, but nothing spectacular. It looked like it had a lot of the two types of onions it comes with in it. All items had generous servings. Overall, it was disappointing. If you don't want a lot of flavor, this is your jam.

The egg rolls were HUGE and yummy, noodles were a little mushy, rice was mushy, but the overall flavor wasn't terrible!

So far this is our 4th Chinese restaurant we have tried in the area & the worst of them by far.

Finally after searching all over Eugene/Springfield area I've found real Chinese food! Kung Poa Chicken, Twice Cooked Pork like it should be. Only take out at this point but still good. I will be enjoying this little gem for awhile and will continue commenting on them.

China Seas is our favorite Chinese restaurant! We drive 25 min each way just to get their food. Very friendly owners, great portions and quick service.

It's been my fav Chinese restaurant for the past 20 years due to decent food and pricing. Owner(s) always enjoyable to talk to. Quick service as well.

I tried calling during business hrs to place a order, never got a answer. Too bad, we were going to try this place, I guess not. Thank goodness we didn't now that I see the reviews, ended up going to way back burger instead.

If I could give a zero star, I would. Very disappointed with the food from this restaurant. We were on the way home to California and spent one night in Eugene and had a taste for some Chinese food.We ordered rice sizzling soup that had no flavor whatsoever. First time I had rice sizzling soup with no flavor from a Chinese restaurant. The egg rolls looked like logs Filled with batter instead of egg roll wrapper.I would not recommend this restaurant. Go to the other Chinese restaurants in Eugene. ☺️

Best place!!The stuff is awesome and the food is sooo good.

I was hoping that this place would be good since it is close to our house. I do think that everything we had was edible. It had too much grease and corn starchy sauces and not enough flavor. Definitely not worth the price.
