Coffee plant roaster has amazing espresso and Chai. Housemade syrups are awesome! The food is also very good, a little pricey but it's tasty. I mostly love the atmosphere of this place.

Some of the worst tasting coffee we've had very bitter and very little other flavor the cold brew was very bitter and couldn't taste the added flavoring at all. The latte was watery and couldn't taste the coffee at all. They need better training in their barista

I genuinely love this place so much! I do call ahead ordering frequently in my way to work and they are always so nice. They also make killer drinks and amazing avocado toast. By far my favorite coffee place in Eugene! (Ps. My dog loves it too!)

Stating this first: The service was great, the staff was very friendly and warm, and the place was clean and inviting. This review is more about practicality for students. As a student, there are 2 cons to coming here:- They have a policy that you can only sit in the cafe for 1 hour, that's what it tells you when you log in for their wifi. This is a bummer since I was expecting to be able to post up for a bit and get some work done. To be fair, I didn't get kicked out after an hour and the wifi didn't shut off. But that's the policy listed with the wifi, and that's the information I'm going by for anyone who is looking for a place to sit down and study. I'm giving it 3 stars for atmosphere because there's no point in going there for long periods of time.- This is a personal preference, but the flavor of the espresso wasn't my favorite. I got a latte with whole milk, same order I get at every cafe so that I can compare the flavor of espresso from place to place. It was a weak flavor and not very robust or deep -- it just doesn't seem worth the money, because this place is also a little overpriced.

This is a bustling spot - West 11th needed a local sit down coffee house and this fits the bill. I take their French Roast home for my espresso machine whenever I stop in. Lovely pastries (the scones are sometimes dry but people like that I guess). Nice staff, very PNW decor, and lots of seating. Frequently see people working on laptops there. Varied menu of things to order: breakfast and light lunch items as I recall. You should stop by. My friend LOVES their chai made in house. Enjoy!

I never know if I should describe Coffee Plant Roaster as a "hidden gem" or not. It's on a pretty busy stretch of West 11th, after all... But I'll never hesitate to call it a "gem".It's a proper third wave coffee shop, and everything they do is expertly done - even the tea (which is so often overlooked).Stop by, get a drink, get some food, and tip your baristas. You won't regret any of it.

Yummy in my tummy. Imo prob the best pastries in eugene, and the biscuits and gravy and breakfast burrito are good as well, if a little bit overpriced. The quality of the coffee is also very high. Come here to get scrumped by the food.
