The food was indeed above average as others have mentioned, the jalapeño poppers are quite good and the jalapeño burger was almost too spicy(which is what I like). Surprising for this kinda place. Going back for a Reuben next time. The worker tonight was exceptionally kind, brought the food out to my car, and quick too.
It’s a neighborhood “deli” they used to have pretty good fish and chips, and bagel breakfast sandwiches, last time I ordered the fish and chips they weren’t that great. The fish pieces were too small.
Their white gravy is the perfect texture - not too runny, not too meaty. The flavor is good, could be amped up a bit, but nothing a dash of tobasco won't fix. The biscuits fill the to-go boat edge to edge, so the portion size and ratio of biscuit to gravy is fantastic. It was too tantalizing for me to remember to take a picture without eating some first 😅
