This place is awesome. I love the many varieties of tea they offer. The lily tomlan cookies will put you in a cookie coma.

I was in Eugene for a night and so glad that I chose this place for coffee. The atmosphere is open, warm and a little rustic feeling. The staff was super friendly and the breakfast sandwich was (huge!) delicious. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great coffee, great people!

Farmers Union is one of the reasons I've become a bit of a coffee snob!

There are a lot of coffee shops and roasters in Eugene. Some of them are good; some of them are great. But none of them reach the level of quality, care, and kindness that Farmer's Union does.

From their phenomenal fresh roasted beans to the wonderful seasonal beverages (don't sleep on that Orpington Latte!) to the best breakfast sandwich in town (fight me), there isn't a negative word I can say about this place.

I don't even live close to this spot, but I will drive out of the way to grab coffee from then

An excellent roaster in a great location. Lovely to sit outside and enjoy a fine cup.

I buy my beans exclusively from Farmer's Union at this point. Even with the additional cost to beans we've seen this year, they've somehow managed to keep their prices at a point that's doable while still letting me explore different varieties. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Also feels good knowing where the money goes with their transparency around relationships with their various sources.

I love farmers union. It’s my favorite coffee shop because the coffee is so good, the food is excellent and the employees are all so nice.

Best roasters in Eugene too!

The food smelled good, coffee was fine, and ambiance was decent. Customer service needs some work. I clarified that the coffee mug I was ordering was refillable when I ordered it. The fellow I ordered from was reasonably pleasant and confirmed it was. Subsequently, the lady from whom I requested a refill seemed strangely excited to explain to me that refills cost money and that I need to wait in the fairly long line. After considerable argument about how I had specifically sought clarity on this point when I ordered, she agreed that I could have a refill without paying, but maintained her enthusiasm in telling me I still needed to wait in line for it. And so I did, behind 7–8 people ordering drinks and meals, before receiving my mug that took 5 seconds to fill. Just poor customer service for no obvious reason. It's possible I'll give this place another chance, but more likely I will opt for one of the many decent, friendly options in the area (Meraki, Dark Pine, Perugino, to name a few).

Oops. The yogurt with fruit cup had a big hair in it about half way through. So very disgusting. Icky. Don’t they wear hair nets or some other way to keep their hair out of prepared food?

Farmers Union is consistently the best coffee in town (cappuccino is my measure), which is saying a lot in a town with many good Coffee options. Staff is super friendly and competent really into making quality drinks. Outdoor terrace is filled with two-tops and makes a perfect 20-30 minute mid-morning or mid-afternoon break. Food is great too.

10/19 My wife got accused of not having worked in the service industry (not true) after asking to have the scone we ordered to be heated & buttered and to use her free drink on the punch card (she didn't have time to ask while being rudely rushed through the order). Then, another employee or possibly the PIC stepped in to back the barista up and accused my wife of staring at them (she was just waiting for her drink so we could leave asap). Don't expect good service if they are busy, and I would highly caution politely standing up for yourself when an employee gets rude (and borderline hostile) with you - you will not get support. Too bad, because the coffee is pretty good.

Super excited to try this place.
But my excitement certainly did not last long. I felt awkward.
The person behind the counter just kind of stared at me, I feel like in almost disgust.
The whole interaction just seemed off.
Never been here so I wanted to order food, but I could almost hear the foot tapping as I was looking at the 8 items available.
Got my food and eh, it’s not great!
Also said thank you when retrieving my items only to get no response, just a blank stare.
Needless to say this is listed on a Eugene’s influencers page on places to try but I will definitely be able to give my real review to her.
I have never felt so out of place and super disappointed overall.
