Best fish and chips on the West Coast. I make it a point to visit any time I am near Eugene.

Loved the food very popular among the local city folks. Went there several times during my stay from Calif.

I've always loved this place. This Tuesday was the first time I've been there for tacos. I regret not going there sooner on a tuesday!!!

I was there 15 minutes too early for the fryer food....come on. I was from out of town and had a work schedule. The food I did settle for was delicious.

Fairly good prices for fish and chips, but not exactly the most flavorful one if you're expecting salty or savory. Not much to say that really impressed me, so I wouldn't really say this is my go-to for seafood. But if you're really concerned about prices at other locations, then you're more than welcome to eat here.

We wanted to love this place. Have been passing it by for 3 years, and always wanted to go in. Today was our 12 year anniversary and we decided to go here for dinner. The famous crawfish pie, was burnt on the outside and dry on the inside. My husband decided on the captain's platter. The fried clams were rubbery, and you could tell that the grease had not been changed. The fries were good, but that's about it. Service was okay-ish and the girl working at the front counter didn't really seem like she wanted to be there. I hate to say, but we probably won't be back.

The food is good, the fish is good, but the service is lacking. I used to enjoy my experience here, but all it takes is one person to leave a bad taste in your mouth and the woman who incessantly "manages" the lines has a terrible additude. I am basing this off of several interactions with her. She appears to be a miserable human being and her efforts to "manage" the lines are not good for business. Why anyone should get paid to manage a line at this place is baffling. Anyway, after standing in one of two lines for 15 minutes, I get up to the front and she tells me that there's only "one line" and directs me to the other line to stand in. I ended up leaving because I didn't want to stand in line again and spend 30 whole minutes in line, just to get something out of the case. If there's only one line, then put up a sign or perhaps utilize a number system. This is a common sense fix that will relieve customers from having to interact with the poor additude of the "line manager." This person is not customer service oriented and EVERY interaction I've had with her has been horrible. Her behavior is rude, unkind, and downright unfathomable. She needs some social skills training or something. I refuse to go back because everytime she is there (which is often), I have to interact with her or witness her treat other customers like dirt. As a regular, this makes me a little sad but life is too short and no one enjoys or needs this sort of negativity in their lives.

Used grubhub to order from here thinking it would be a good idea, I was wrong. $71 dollars for the order and it's barely enough for one person. The crab bisque looked like curdled milk. The halibut was dry and bland. The worst is the Mac N Cheese. $19 dollars for a child size portion of Kraft with lobster bits. I'm pissed and won't buy from there ever again.

The place is nice and they do have fresh seafood. The food could have been better though. The pasta was a bit mushy and some of the good food was bland. They do have lots of sauces though.

Fisherman’s market is not the best seafood that you can find in Eugene! Newmans fish company located on Willamette has far superior fish. I went for lunch today 3/31 and got the cod fish and chips and I was quite disappointed with the quality of the fish. Additionally my fries were like warm at best like they had been sitting under a heating lamp for a good amount of time ( I ate there). They have a diverse menu with plenty of options which makes it great for families. I just cannot get past the fish I received it was chewy, tough, and the breading was flavorless. I would definitely recommend Newmans over this place.

Clam chowder and fish and chips was outstanding. Nice size of clams in the chowder and fish was moist and flaky. Added picture of Diablo shrimp and scallops
