The food was good, but not outstanding. The service is what was most notable for a higher end restaurant. Again, it wasn't bad, just not what you would expect. Our dinner plates were passed to us from across the table, as an example.

Contracted severe FOOD POISONING after eating here at 6:30pm on Saturday 8/9/25 and ordered a salmon arugula salad. Was admitted to the ER and am now too sick to work for days. WILL NEVER BE EATING HERE AGAIN. Stay away!!

Stopped by the outdoor patio with our dog, & had a couple beers followed by the spring salad & meat pizza. The service was a little slow (but friendly), and the food was GREAT!

I saw Gordon Tavern was hiring online for a dishwasher. Before stopping in to ask about applying- I thought I’d call to confirm what those hours were to see if I was available to work those hours before applying. I called, and Eric answered. I proceeded with my question about the hours, and before I could finish, I was told “We don’t answer those questions over the phone, you will have to come in to ask about that, good luck” *click*. Hangs up the phone before I could even have a follow up question about its location.
Very rude, very unprofessional. I would not recommend giving this business your money, or working for them. Very turned off by Gordon tavern.
if i could give this place zero stars i would. only thing holding that back was at least the servers were nice. honestly, the steak and the burger were not edible. im convinced that the current rating for this restaurant is for the bar/drinks not the food.

I recently visited Gordon Tavern with a client to mark the successful close of a professional engagement. Unfortunately, what was intended to be a celebratory outing was markedly diminished by the service we received.
While the ambiance of the establishment was pleasant and the beverages, albeit slightly underpoured, were of good quality. Our server, Stacey, demonstrated a stark contrast in demeanor toward us compared to other guests. She appeared warm, attentive, and engaging with surrounding tables, yet her attitude toward us was noticeably indifferent and disengaged.
Though we were casually dressed and may have appeared younger than other patrons, it is disconcerting that such superficial factors seemed to inform the quality of our service. As a result of this evident disparity, we felt uncomfortable and chose to conclude our visit after only one drink.
It is my sincere hope that the establishment reflects on the importance of equitable hospitality and ensures that all guests are treated with the same courtesy and respect, regardless of perceived status or appearance.

I enjoyed my meal, a salad and pizza during happy hour. Met friends and sat in the patio and enjoy the company and view.

The only thing I didn't enjoy was that they may've gotten my order wrong, but it's a minor nitpick, a rough in the diamond

My steak was overcooked. Took 15 minutes to get another that wasn't even the steak I ordered, so I had no entree. Short ribs were served with the wrong starch. Rest of the food was mediocre. Way over priced for food and service. Would NOT recommend.
Was excited to take my family here for brunch graduation weekend. The manager greeted us at the host stand with “what's the name” Our server was great. But.. Coffee was first lukewarm and then downright cold. Omelets were not seasoned, plating was boring and visually unappealing. Avocado spread for the avocado toast was gray and overly vinegary from pickled onions and the plate was watery from the liquid from poached eggs. Disappointing
