Food is lack luster. My dining parter's avocado toast was disappointing. He said not enough avocdao and toast was ''meh''. My hamburger was decent and fries excellent . There were 4 of us so the other two had waffes /eggs/ sausage and eggs Benedict both acceptable. Food was plated as if we were in a diner. I expected more from the Gordon Tavern

We had an awesome dinner, great food and service. My only complaint is our table was so close to others that we were crammed in and had no ability to talk.

Service was pretty slow, but it was busy so I will give that. The food was average for the cost, the wedge salad was. Absolute disappointment. It was lime 2 small chunks of lettuce. I get better wedge salads at Forresters.

We have been several times and some of what we enjoy is the ability for everyone to find something on the menu that they will love. We also appreciate their attentiveness to food allergies as that makes it easy for us to know what we can choose from. The servers are always professional and friendly and the food is delicious. Some fan favorites in our family are the pizza and the chicken.

Great steak and eggs breakfast! They also had a great selection of bourbon which brought me back later for drinks.

I have been to this restaurant with friends and family multiple times and we always find the food service and atmosphere to be Exceptional. I have never had a meal here that I haven’t thought was excellent and the service is always great! I always make a reservation online and when I’ve asked for a specific accommodation, they were always able to do that for me.

Best Thanksgiving buffet! Wonderful food and service year round though! Love the happy hours offered every day versus only weekdays.

Gordon Tavern is a great place to eat and / or have a cocktail. Friendly staff, festive atmosphere and excellent food and cocktails. It is an open environment and not overly intimate if that is what you are seeking, but fun and great for groups (we had 4 in our party). Close to the Hult and easy parking close by. It was our 2nd time and we will absolutely go back!

Had dinner and breakfast here while staying at the hotel. Dinner was good - pizzas, pastas, fish, salads, and burgers were a few of the dishes our table had. All good and fresh. Service was mostly attentive with a few slips.
Breakfast was OK. My eggs were not cooked as requested (they were very undercooked), and the avocado toast was not well-executed (browning, sour taste). The waiter took it away at the end of the meal without comment and charged us for the dish. Perhaps 3% of the food on the plate was eaten. That was very disappointing. I went somewhere else and paid for another breakfast. The rest of my family thought their breakfasts were much better, though.

Our group of about 20 people rented out The Vintage Room for a company staff holiday party, and we had a fantastic time! Our event coordinator, Shayla made the process of getting everything planned a seamless experience. The decor, food and service were all amazing. Our server, Stacey had us feeling at home and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. All of our drinks, apps and entrees came out in a timely fashion and tasted great. We will definitely be back!

The kitchen was kicking butt , all the food was excellent. Our table had the short ribs, the chicken dinner, Noodles with shrimp , and the salmon dinner. Brussel sprouts were on point. ( very good) they should be on the appetizer menu… Everything was excellent come eat some good food. Keep up the hard work kitchen staff thank you!

Just attended the Thanksgiving buffet dinner. Seated in the Tavern, 7th floor. Zero atmosphere, no decorations or any visual way to know it’s Thanksgiving. No music, just a muted television. The dinner was incredibly over-priced. When I went through the line there was no stuffing and barely any gravy. Hello…it’s Thanksgiving. Half the dinner items were good, half were Golden Corral quality. Won’t go back and I’m a Eugene resident.

Thanksgiving buffet was not stocked, a huge mess, and not a good variety for the $55 per person price. Very disappointing!

The food was pretty good. The service was wonderful. The price matched the experience. The biggest downside was the lack of decoration and general ambience in the particular room we were in. I don't know what the experience was like on other floors but we were in a banquet area and honestly other than the center piece I don't think there was any decoration at all.
