Wow! The food is fantastic and easily rivals the best you will find in Miami. The ropa vieja was the shining star. Andy’s Cuban was great too. The chicken was a little dry but tasty. The cafe con leche hit the spot. Fun music and a laid back atmosphere.

WOW, finally some Cuban food that's local! I fell in love with Cuban food in Portland, but unfortunately the resturant there shut down. I haven't found any since then. I was so excited to see this pop up on uber eats and had good reviews. The Ropa Vieja was incredible. Juicy and packed with flavor. Don't be afraid to mix it with bites of the plantains, the flavors work so well together. The beans were not as flavor as I would have hoped but they also mix well with the meat and rice. On their own I'd like a little more seasoning. I would LOVE to see a version of a plantain ketchup. This is such a wonderful addition to the food scene in Eugene, I cannot wait to try everything else on the menu.

My first time doing take out. Delicious meal. Tasty. They were out of one item I ordered. They called me to let me know, refunded the amount of the item and comped me an alternative. I look forward to eating there in person and taking my daughters.

This place was exactly what I needed on a day when the day breaks just the right way and the sun is out. Plenty of windows to take in the sun and decorations to make you understand the owners back ground without it being in your face.The Cuban sandwich was exactly how it should be so excellent. Not soupy with too much mayo and the pork shoulder was nice and tender. The bread was toasted to perfection on the plancha and held its crispy bite til the end.

Just as good, if not better, than the places I would always eat at in Tampa growing up. I had Andy's Original Cuban. The sandwich meat was juicy and tender, with that signature smell of the ingredients mixing with the Swiss cheese, and that's after I reheated it. Just crispy enough on the outside, too. Legit 5/5.

What a great find!!! This family run restaurant was incredibly delicious ! I lived in Florida for 22 years and missed Cuban food, so my kids and grands brought me here for my birthday!! We all ordered a different main meal and several appetizers ! We were all ecstatically delighted with every dish we ordered ( and tasted each others) . None of us had been here before! But we are coming back very soon!!! The chef and staff were so welcoming and friendly! Highly recommended!

My wife and I have eaten at Versailles in Los Angeles and Miami but Havana Cafe Eugene is as good or better. Great authentic food choices with the perfect proportions of ingredients served by happy people that are surrounded by a very upbeat color scheme, excellent table layout and Cuban music. What a great addition to West Broadway. What more could you want?
