Hideaway has great coffee and baked goods, along with both outdoor and indoor seating. I had their Tempeh sandwich the other day and it was wonderful.

I enjoyed coming to Hideaway bakery! I love the ambiance of this spot. Awesome outdoor seating and picnic tables in the sun. Also some indoor seating as well. Wide selection of breads, pastries, and desserts. I really enjoyed the coffee here too. They have a breakfast and lunch menu. Does get crowded on weekends. Would recommend.

Pastries are great. Nice atmosphere. Decent selection of gluten free options. I like the breads, cakes, cookies-- all the baked things. My complaint: their espresso is some of the worst I've ever had. Tastes like it's three years old and filtered through a dirty sock. Consistently, for years. No amount of milk, sugar, and flavored syrup can cover it up. Get some tea instead.

They decided to close early, told me they had sold out of everything, while I could see the desserts case was full which is what I had come in to get for a birthday. Not very nice.

My favorite coffee shop in town. The bread is the best in Eugene, and it's a nice place to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry any time of the year.

Great find. And you literally have to find it as it is hidden in back of parking lotBut great fresh baked bread. The best sourdough around. You walk in and the aroma surrounds you. Also great sandwiches and desserts. And fresh pasta to go

Everything in this place is top notch. The bread is our weekly treat. Absolutely perfect and healthy. Having lived in Italy I can tell you this is the real deal. Wonderful smells and ambiance in this tiny bakery. Love the huge woodfire oven. Super friendly and helpful staff

The pastries are always a hit or miss, mostly misses tho . The cake is always either too sweet or stale. The cookies are dry and flavorless. The bread is mid, sometimes good. Drinks are usually good. honestly don’t get all the hype on the bakeries here. But atmosphere is a 10/10.

I come here often despite the exorbitant prices. I always spend atleast $25 here when I come. They are always super busy and have a line out the door. So many pastry options and all are good. A ton of latte flavors, I've enjoyed everything I have tried here. They are always busy so be prepared to wait for your things. You can either sit outside under the heat lights or go inside and chill at a table. The seats are cushy and it's warm. The fireplace makes a great atmosphere. The tables across the back wall have outlets as well as one table near the first fireplace when you walk in. I've sat for three hours working here before and I am not alone- sometimes people will be on video calls which is annoying but it is what it is.Parking: There's parking on either side of the building, spending in the time of day it can be hard to find parking but I've never had an issuesKid-friendliness: I often see kids here.

Their breads are great, but what stood out to me the most was their staff:One time, a friend and I arrived just after they closed; when we realized they were closed, we started making our way back to our car. My friend is elderly and has mobility issues, so the walk back took a minute. During this time one of the bakers offered us a loaf of bread for our trouble.Vegetarian options: Mainly breads and baked goods

This is my favorite spot for breakfast or lunch. Their breakfast burrito is so good and huge. Their loaves of bread are wonderful & the chocolate croissant is to die for. The coffee is just right (not too strong or weak). I've tried several different pastries and never been disappointed. I enjoy sitting on the very pleasant patio (no indoor seating) and we can bring my granddog. It's just a short walk from my son's place so super convenient as well. I'm kind of glad it's hidden away because if you don't get there early they run out of most of our favorites.

Harissa hash is not to be missed. Also that gf vegan muffin is sooooo good. Also have a vegan potato pasta option to cook at home
