Don’t go here! I was fooled when the guy working the counter told me he was from Arkansas. I ordered ribs and banana pudding. I should’ve listened to my wife, she read a review that said the food was trash. The review was correct. I’m a southerner and I love ribs and I didn’t know they could be so bad. I waited and the ribs were cold. And the banana pudding was runny and just plain gross. It was the worst $30 I’ve ever spent. I don’t usually do reviews but this was such a disappointment and a disgrace to ribs everywhere. Skip this!

2 stars all around. Close until 3:30pm which Google didn't tell us. They were out of tri-tip which was why we stopped in. The counter person was not overly rude, but also definitely not friendly.
The portions of brisk and ribs were pretty small: the brisk was dry, the potato salad tasted like winco red skinned brand out of the box. I'm a cook, so maybe I'm bias in my judgement of other people's food.
The strawberry lemonade was bitter, and tested like the cheap bottled brand from Walmart.
The slaw was quite bland, but that's actually better than overly sweet, as I've had in other places. The chicken wings were really good though, and so was the banana pudding.
Inretrospect we should've just ordered kids meals, the portions were the same, but the price was cheaper.
I LOVE a good BBQ and would've really loved if this place had done well. It's in a great location, and there so much potential there. I hate being a critic if I could help it, but I'd also hate to see someone else waste a lot of money here and leave to find food elsewhere.
Overall I dropped $70 here and then ordered nachos at the place nearby.

Despite having no other business during my visit, my food was served cold. And the ribs were weird. I'm usually pretty forgiving but I unfortunately won't be back to High on the Hog BBQ. The value for my money just was not there.

Very happy to stop here for lunch with hubby. Got pulled pork and mac and cheese with Memphis sauce. So Delicious! Highly recommend. Cafeteria is a little run down on benches but it's clean. A little loud if you want conversation. Would stop by again.

Overpriced, didn’t get any bbq sauce on my tri tip like I was told there would be. Told the sides would be so big and they were half the size as I was told. I will not be going back.

The ribs were very moist and tender, price wasn't bad either, but it's like they were washed. The external crust that develops when smoking is missing or washed off. Maybe when they were reheated in the water bath? Anyways I didn't know what to expect and it was ok but not winning any bbq awards.

I was really disappointed with this bbq place. I asked the guy working if I could have a sample of the Mac n cheese and he said no and later explained it’s because of the area, people that aren’t customers come in and try to get samples, which I understand but man I wish I would’ve been able to try it because the Mac n cheese was horrible. The burnt ends were a little dry, and not very fatty like most burnt ends I’ve had. The coleslaw and toast was probably the best part of my meal. With that being said the coleslaw was just okay. I ordered a sweet tea, and it was so watered down and hardly sweet. My husband loved mac n cheese and got two orders of it and only hate 1/2 of one of the orders.

Great food! Visitng from out of state and wanted to get a good dinner, was craving pulled pork & briscut so I Googled this place, and was not disapointed. great food, great flavor, sauces were authentic and really hit the spot.. Spoke with the owner who has 3 locations and seemed really invested in providing great food and experience for everybody. I did knock 1* from atmospher as it's grouped into a tight hard to access space but otherise fantatsic experience

I am a senior at sehs, my friends and I go to this place pretty regularly and it is AMAZING! we always get the Mac and cheese which is suuuuper good. So is the fries and toast. I especially love the noodles they use because the cheese sauce gets all up in there. Overall the prices are good and the service is to. Highly recommend.
