Bland, pricey for the product. We had brisket, pulled pork, burnt ends, mac & cheese. We are a family that enjoys barbecue. This ranked on the lower end of our experiences.

Disappointed. I ordered ribs and pulled pork.....NO SMOKE FLAVOR . At all . Am I missing something? Tasted like oven roasted pork with no rub or seasoning. I've had BBQ in the south , and from people FROM the south. None of it tasted like this. Service was good, friendly and prompt.

The fries were ok, but you can't really mess up fries too badly. The brisket was disgusting. I'm not sure how this place is still open.

Nice people.. Welcoming. Light hearted. I got the Barbecue. (Pork, to you Bar-B-Que wayfarers.) Not much smoke. Not seasoned. Mildly moist compared to some of the down right dripping wet Bar-B-Q I have been privy to in this part of the state of Oregon. I still do not understand why it is wet. Slaw was good. Potato Salad had a unique and capricious flavor but the potatoes were unjustly underdone. Located in the awful 5th Street market.

The food here was delicious, will come back again. don't let previous reviews taint how good the food is. Most of the reviews probably havent been south to have authentic BBQ. this place is great

Service was great. Chatted with the owner Ken. The brisket was so tender and yummy. And the banana pudding was delicious.

Located in food court near hotels. Got ribs meal and pulled pork sandwich for take out. Both tasted great! Would definitely return.

So I am not sure i've ever reviewed a place this poorly before and I should've checked the previous Yelp reviews so I could've avoided this place myself, but I was too hungry to care in the moment to check (big mistake)First bad sign was there was no line for this place. It's BBQ, BBQ is always supposed to be good and there's always somebody in line, but that wasn't the case here. All you had was a large intimidating man waiting behind the counter, looking like he wanted to leave and go home as quickly as possible.Ok so I ordered the pulled pork plate with mac n cheese and coleslaw as a side. Took about 5 minutes to come out and at first glance, things didnt look terrible, but also the pulled pork didnt look great.Alright so I poured the bbq sauce they give you on the pulled pork which was mistake because after taking a bite, it tasted bitter, and ive never had a bitter bbq sauce before so that was an instant no-go, no more sauce would be added. The pulled pork itself was just kinda mushy? No smoke flavor at all, but also there was very little flavor of anything and it kinda just mushed together. BBQ aint easy to perfect, but pulled pork is like beginner level stuff to the point where it is hard to mess it up, but this place found a way. The coleslaw was kinda bland but the only thing that wasnt bad The Mac n Cheese....folks when I read the reviews AFTER I ordered, I couldnt wait to see how bad this mac n cheese was and wow, it was so bad I couldnt finish it. The macaroni shells werent particular cooked poorly, but the cheese sauce had the weirdest flavor and aftertaste almost like plastic, to the point where boxed mac n cheese was 100x better, even boxed mac had a better flavor profile than this stuff.Well, I finished the pork and coleslaw, threw the mac n cheese in the trash and got out of there as fast as I could, hoping to never try BBQ that bad ever again.

If the pulled pork "barbecue" has been near a fire, I'd be surprised. My expectations were higher. Tasted more like a oven roasted pork with barbecue sauce. The beans & slaw were fine, Texas toast tasted like you'd expect. Counter service. Food was prepared promptly. Location is convenient, next to Inn on 5th. Ambiance is a food court, nothing remarkable.

I had brisket and burnt ends, along with Mac n cheese. It was really subpar for $36 bucks including tip. Brisket was super dried out and not melt in your mouth, juicy. The Mac n cheese didn't even seem like real cheese and it wasn't even hot. Not sure if I just went on a slow day, but really disappointing. Eugene remains a wasteland for quality BBQ.

I ordered a brisket sandwich with the KC hot sauce (first fail, but recommended by the employee or owner - brisket is Texas bbq), and their mac and cheese as my side. I also had a strawberry lemonade. The brisket, as opposed to some other reviews, was tender and had decent flavor. I'd order this again, but either with no sauce or a better one. The mac and cheese may be the worst I've ever had - grainy, bad/no cheese flavor, and the noodles were over cooked. I'd come back for a sammy, but I'll never order their mac and cheese again. Again, their brisket was pretty solid - maybe I got lucky, but I stand by how it was.

I loved it. I just wish the quarter rack had one more rib. They weren't as big as I was hoping but they came right off the bone and were very good. Potato salad appeared to be house made and is loaded. Also had Mac and cheese. Family of 7, all ate here and all loved it. It's located inside with 5 or 6 other restaurants.

I feel like there aren’t too many barbecue places to choose from in my area, but this one is my favorite. The brisket burnt ends macaroni and cheese is my go-to. The meat is never fatty and pulls apart nicely. The couple who runs the business is always very friendly and personable. Never waited long or had a complaint and I’ve come here atleast a handful of times. I also think the portion of meat given is reasonable for the price.
