Great beer, great time!
Awesome beers!
Great food, great service!
Once the sun finally starts to shine down on Eugene, the lure of Hop Valley's patio is undeniable . This used to be one of the most carefree locations I could visit with the whole family. I could sit out in the sun, enjoy a good beer, while also be waited upon. After a few months away, I came back today to find a skeleton crew of what used to be and table top service only. What once served as an oasis now feels more like a desolate space. No more constant smiles or warm service (though the staff that remain are just as warm and welcoming despite drastic changes to the environment). I could not just sit back and relax with my kiddos, knowing that I was going to be well taken care. For me, Hop Valley stood apart from the rest, it was a place I could go to enjoy the day with my family and yes, pay for the service. Now, there is not much that makes Hop Valley stand apart from the rest when table top service is all they have. They are just like every other place that serves beer in and around the Eugene area. It truly is a bit of a shame. I was and always was willing to maybe pay just a tad bit more to get great service. Like I said, the staff that remains are still absolutely amazing but I am still a bit in shock at such an abrupt and disappointing shift in the way they conduct business.
Would be a 5 star if they hadn’t switched to self service. The manager Allie was incredibly sweet as well as the employee at the bar! But the self service is such a big bummer because it was the one thing that I enjoyed the most about getting a beer and food brought to me. This place is normally packed and now coming it seems like a much lesser crowd. Kind of a bummer but still loved the customer service!!!
Let me say first, I loved the local brewery. It’s not local anymore. You need to scan a QR code to order or go to the bar. The staff is amazing and I feel so bad from them. The menu is different & wait till they change the beers :( will not go back.
Love this place, service is always top notch, friendly, attentive. Hop over for the grilled cheese experience and support Food For Lane County!
We selected Hop Valley specifically for their burgers, but our experience was incredibly disappointing. We arrived at 8:20 p.m. on a Friday (with the restaurant closing at 9 p.m.) and were told we couldn't order burgers because the grill had already been cleaned and they didn't want to do it again. This was especially frustrating since we had friends visiting from out of state, and we had chosen Hop Valley for their burgers. To make matters worse, we watched the waitstaff casually drinking beer while we were eating, which felt inconsiderate. It seemed like there were plenty of staff around who could have quickly cleaned the grill after making our order. As if that wasn't enough, we were rushed out at right at 9 p.m. while still waiting for our bill to be closed out because the “gate was about to be locked.”
Frozen pizza and popcorn chicken! Beer was watered down no fizz at all. Flat .
This is what makes a local town. One of the best spots is when they produce such an amazing where we like this. The environment was incredible so relaxing. You could sit back and enjoy various spears and truly know that the brewmaster here knows what he’s doing.
They did everything from logers to IPAs to imperial IPAs and did a very good job all around your pallet making a great beer for everyone!
The staff was incredibly friendly and so helpful
The merchandise look fantastic and I wanted to grab some!
The food was good as well so all in all I can’t compliment this for enough. I highly recommend it!

Wish they had more browns/darks but their IPAs are excellent.
Great beers, great service and great food. I miss their ahi add-on though. They have great salads and I loved adding ahi to them, but it’s not on the menu anymore. Oh well, I’ll always love Hop Valley.
Disappointed quality/quantity. Ordered a pot pie and 95% of the dish was crust. There was very little, if any filling, in total 3 bits of filling. The staff took no care in preparing my meal and it showed.
First time pick up load from this place very nice staff and load quick
Delicious food, excellent service, and many different brews
