Yelp took us here, and it's worth the high rating. First, the baristas are great. Helpful, friendly, and aim to please. I had a turmeric latte (I can never remember the proper name on this drink), which was excellent and made with care. We were there in the early afternoon, and mocha s ones that were wonderful. The store itself is very interesting. It looks like the baked goods are made onsite. There is an appealing selection of groceries. It is quiet and comfortable. A great find.

A quiet coffee shop, and they serve pastries, along with deli products. The staff was amazing and kind! I would come back again! I loved their vanilla chai with almond milk!

We loved our visit to Horai! There is seating inside and outside if you want to hang out for a while, everyone was very friendly and sweet and the coffee was great. Lots of great healthy ingredients to bring home as well and I will be back for that. This time we had a latte and an americano, an ancient grain cookie (which was offered to be heated and I'm so glad they offered because it was delicious) and a curried cauliflower pastry of some kind that was so good it was gone in just a few bites so we didn't get a picture

Horai is doing it right. I first experienced their offerings at the farmers market- it quickly became my partner and I’s first stop on Saturday mornings. Always delicious coffee, delightfully crafted bread, and really kind & warm energy. Visiting their new spot on E 11th recently was so exiting! The layout feels really open and light. All their food and medicine offerings are delicious (I really can not get enough of their bread lol). When I ordered my oat milk chai, I even got a heart design in it which can be hard to accomplish with non-dairy! The overall experience of Horai has such a community feel- I hope to be one of the regulars to keep supporting the cool stuff this crew is doing. Thank you!!

Salt bread 10/10! Took a hot loaf back to the hotel to share with the family. It's good alone but would also make for an awesome sandwich. The staff was so kind and helpful.

Unique blend of chai latte! I was running late and bought tea as a pick-me-up. It was so good, I couldn't be mad. 1000% worth being late to drink their chai latte againDietary restrictions: Vegan and gluten free

Wholewheat seeded bread had a perfect amount of seeds — not overwhelming. Texture was lovely and made for great grilled-cheeses and sandwiches.Only wish folks in there were a little more welcoming. For example by making sure to give equal attention to every customer and look at them in the eyes, including Asian folks. I’m sure you know what I mean… ?✌?

Eugene needs more places like this! Please support! There are few brick and mortar storefronts around here where you can get truly local, pasture-raised, corn/soy-feee chicken, pork, and the cleanest (and most delicious) baked goods! The almond croissant is to DIE for, their coffee is great, and they have a great selection of local produce and kitchen goods.

Fantastic local bakery and market!! Organic local meats, produce, cheese and lots of farmer direct items. Great place for a coffee and quick nosh. Also great to plan a whole meal - they’ve got everything you might want to put together a local focused seasonal dinner!Vegetarian options: Lots of baked goods and produce, coffee, tea and more.Kid-friendliness: Cookies, ice cream, fruit and more!

Incredible little grocery, bakery, cafe. It's like a mini farmers market!! Absolutely love Horai Farm Market!!! What a great addition to the neighborhood. * Super nice down to earth folks! * Nourishing local organic foods! * Local cheeses and meats! * Local seasonal produce! * Very good espresso bar and baked goods! The Ginger snap cookies, chocolate chip cookies and magical apple turnovers are all highly recommended. Did I mention the apple turnovers!! OMG they're delicious little power packed treats! Yum.

Cute little place that just popped up. A small selection of baked goods, an assortment of farm things (including meats, veggies, locally canned products from neighboring farms, etc.). During the summer I bet the selection will explode to fill the shop; in the winter, of course, there's not nearly as much to sell. Potatoes with eyes and winter crops. This spot might be a little dormant for now but I have high hopes. Tried a ginger snap and it was tasty, fresh, gingery. They had a few challah rolls on offer and some biscotti. I'm intrigued to keep popping in and see what else they have. (Will they sell artisan breads one day? I hope so!) Looks like a pleasant and quiet place to sit. Seating does seem limited relative to the size of the space, so perhaps when the bakery is more established, they'll fill it with tables and chairs and make it a hangout. Will try coffee next time and report back...
