This is a must see when you visit Eugene. They have been in business for over 50 years. The menu prices are reasonable, the portions are large, and it's super friendly.

I'm very sad that this place might be closing, however I am happy that it might be changing hands, fingers crossed. While I was late in discovering this quaint diner, it's a place where you wish you were one of the regulars who've been coming here for the last 20 years. It's such a perfect place to eat breakfast or lunch, with it's classic diner aesthetics and menu. Also, the hours of operations almost make it feel like a secret club.

George and Donna are wonderful people. The atmosphereis right out of the 50's. The food is excellent and the portions are huge for the price. Breakfast and coffee was under $8. Bring cash, credit and debit cards are not accepted just like in the 50's!

Such a great place! The waitress and cook were very nice, food was served fast and tasted very fresh. Love the original style that it kept, and how much of an warm environment it is to be there. I plan to re visit!

A little out of the way gem. Last time I was there it was cash only which at the time seemed charming if a little inconvenient. But it's a really nice little place that has a lot of character. It has a sort of in the city old diner feel to it.

Heard about this place when I was talking burgers with a customer at my work. I have since become a regular and have taken 3 more trips there. So far I've had the Mike Raz special (order it with the pan fried potatoes instead of the hash browns) the Gizmo sandwich, their hotcake special off the board and the biscuits and gravy. This place is a wonderful hidden gem. Not sure who tagged it as Mexican food but it definitely isn't that. Oh yeah, the bacon on the cheeseburger is a meal in itself.

If you are a lover of traditional diner coffee shops- this is the real deal and Oregon's best kept secret. It is only open for breakfast and lunch on weekdays...with the same cook and waitress, bottomless cups of joe, open faced freshly roasted turkey sandwiches on Thursdays, house made pie a la mode, and regulars for many decades. Check it out while you can, because this is a rare treat from a bygone era.
