Our one bedroom suite was very spacious and comfortable for our family of four, which included a baby and a dog. We booked this hotel because of the kitchen and dining area. It was only a partial kitchen with a mini fridge, but it was just what we needed with plenty of counter space. The bathroom was big. We liked the comfy king bedroom. The big windows had nice views of the colorful autumn leaves that we're not used to seeing in Los Angeles. The suite had three TVs. It's located in the Oakway Center so there are various shops and dining options, which we didn't have time to check out. We just got dinner from the hotel bar. The menu is basic, but the wings and grilled cheese were comforting and satisfying after a long drive. There was also a complimentary breakfast. My family loved this hotel especially my dog. Everything was clean with a very nice and helpful staff. Our stay in Eugene was brief, and this was our pit stop before Portland. We stayed in five different hotels during our recent road trip, and this was our favorite. This exceeded our expectations, and everything was 5 stars.

I recently had an extremely disheartening experience at the Hyatt Hotel, which I feel compelled to share. My wife and I had a reservation, but upon my arrival - in a hospital outfit due to a recent car accident - I was shocked by the hotel's rigid and insensitive policy. Despite providing confirmation of the reservation made under both our names, the staff adamantly refused to let me check in without my wife being present. This lack of compassion and flexibility in a situation where I was clearly in distress is appalling. I was in pain and in desperate need of rest, but instead, I was forced to leave and find another hotel that could accommodate me. Such an experience is not only a gross failure in customer service but also a stark lack of basic human empathy.I am deeply disappointed and will not be returning to the Hyatt Hotel. It's alarming how a reputable establishment can disregard the immediate needs of a guest, especially one in a vulnerable state.I hope this review serves as a wake-up call to the Hyatt Hotel to re-evaluate their policies and staff training, ensuring no other guest has to endure what I went through. In response to the owner, the reservation was not cancelled through the call center by myself or my wife who was trying to rent a rental car to come to the hotel to meet me. The man at the podium said nothing about the reservation being cancelled. He only demanded I wait until my wife arrived in order to give me a room. Totally unacceptable. Not sure I want to continue as a Hyatt Discoverest. I look forward to your call.

Absolutely loved my stay at Hyatt Place Eugene! The location is convenient, you're surrounded by good shops & restaurants. The parking is free & it's in a covered parking structure with security patrolling. You initially park in the 3rd level get into the elevator & push level 5 & you're in the lobby. The feeling of clean the moment you walk through the lobby/halls was so refreshing but that did not come close to the level of cleanliness in our room. The breakfast buffet was delicious, I don't even eat breakfast usually but they had such a good selection that my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Huge shout out to the staff, they all said hello each time you passed & were warm & welcoming. I would love to personally thank the breakfast staff but since I can't I will write about it. People were very demanding of them each morning I went & they never lost their cool & had a smile on their face at all times (I personally would give attitude back from how these grown guests were acting). I'm bummed I didn't get to go to their sky lounge, it looked so pretty but there just was not enough time to go. Definitely staying here again!

Amazing, friendly staff from the start to the end! We arrived late in the evening and left the next afternoon and received warm, genuine smiles from start to finish!

Nice modern up-to-date hotel, with a good location next to a smallish but upscale shopping center. Plenty of food options and a Trader Joe within walking distance. Clean rooms, nice breakfast, and plentiful easy free parking. Will be our go-to hotel in Eugene.

With the exception of the parking garage and some of the mild confusion everyone here was fantastic. The check-in crew were so thoughtful and understanding. The overnight manager was absolutely amazing so great so friendly even though I was having an extremely poor day.

We stayed at your establishment last Sunday, September 10th, 2023. I was extremely impressed with the staff and how friendly everyone was. The rooms were nice and clean and very spacious. Mara was extremely helpful and seemed to really enjoy her job. I will definitely recommend the Hyatt to friends and family. I look forward to staying there on my next visit to the area

Nice clean hotel. Front desk attendants were very friendly. Bartender could be a bit more friendly and provide better service, but maybe she just had a bad day.Breakfast was very nice. They served until 10am which was extra nice and standard checkout time is noon.Something important to note is if you have an ev, ev charging is listed as an amenity but they don't actually own it anymore and it's only for some other FUV company. We parked there anyways but it is a very slow charger.

My family stayed here in May. The room was spacious and lovely. The service was great. We also loved the pool and jacuzzi. Perhaps the most stand out element of this hotel though is the SkyBar. I am still on the search for an espresso martini, hummus, or chicken wings that are anywhere near as good as what we had at the SkyBar. They even have a kids menu! To top things off, they have the most beautiful patio. I will definitely be staying here again next time I go to Eugene.Rooms: The room was very spacious, clean and up to date looking with comfy bedsWalkability: It’s located in the middle of a shopping center so great walkability.

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic. The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The room was really clean and comfy. The hotel is in a great spot, close to the main shopping hub and the breakfast options were delicious too. But what made my stay awesome was how nice the staff were.Oh, and they have a fantastic rooftop SkyBar with a beautiful view of the evening sky. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I recommend this hotel.
