Me and my wife visited Eugene from Japan to see our daughter studying at UO. On Saturday morning market I found this tiny kitchen. I tried chicken and rice for the breakfast. It was my first experience of Jamaican food and it was the greatest ! Thank you very much for super wonderful breakfast !!
This woman is such a sweet heart and man I haven't had such authentic Jamaican food since I left Bronx NY the flavors explode in your mouth and leave you full and ready to explore the rest of the menu the portions are healthy and oh man the oxtail if you've never had it I'm sorry it's a must you'll understand if you reàd this and give this establishment a go I'll be waiting for a thank you and I'll just say your welcome ?
Great food I had the oxtail plate it was very delicious and my girlfriend had the j*** chicken (we) enjoys that also lol yes I ate some of hers highly recommend this place
Always great food. Great portions every time, delicious taste and spices, vegetarian and gluten free options, friendly staff
We visit this cart on Thursday and Friday nights usually in the Thinking Tree Spirits parking lot. It has fast become my favorite food cart in town. The food is so thoughtfully prepared it feels like generations of love and experience go into every dish. I am working my way through the whole menu. So far everything is outstanding. Even some thing as basic as their beans and rice are addictively delicious. The j*** chicken is phenomenal. I’ve also tried the chicken curry, the goat curry, plantains, and the brown chicken stew. Everything is amazing. Highly recommend.
One of the best food trucks in Eugene! The chicken, oxtail, and curried goat are all amazing. The plantains are a must try.
Mmmmmm mmmmm! Delighted with my first time here.
Grabbed Irie's on my way out from the Holiday Market at the lane events center. This tasted amazing, especially on such a chilly day. I got the Braised Oxtail and the Jerked Chicken plate, everything was seasoned perfectly, nice spicy kick and the sauce with the chicken was also great! The front end guy who took our order was friendly and the food was served quick. The portions are generous, I was super full and satisfied. I can't wait to try this again, great food!
Their goat curry was fantastic. Will definitely eat there again
I was at the holiday market today and tried these guys out. I tried the braised ox tail. I have never eaten ox tail in my life. All i have to say is holy moly it was good. Can't believe i decided to wait my whole life to try this. The rice and beans were moist and delicious. The cabbage was cooked perfectly ohhhh and that ox tail, wow! Tender fall off the bone!! Yum perfectly seasoned such an experience! These guys make some really good food. I will be headed to the food cart around town to have that again. Love to eat food that makes you feel happy!!

Absolutely delicious, loved every bite! I'll eat anything they make any day.
Consistently delicious!
Best Jamaican beef patties!!! The Ting grapefruit drink was fantastic! This town needs a place where I can get beef patties everyday.
My experience with Jamaican food is limited, but most that I have had focus entirely on the char and making it spicier and spicier. This is good at times, but these folks focus on flavor. The spice is there. That lovely chat is there. But nothing overtook anything else. The rice and beans complimented the cabbage and everything worked well with the Yellow Chicken. I will not hesitate to return here every Saturday. Above and beyond all expectations.
I have been trying to eat at this place for over a year but between living out of town and only coming to Eugene every few months and it only being open Saturday it has been hard. I was finally able to make it and it was well worth the wait. The people working were awesome and the food was delicious. I ordered the quarter j*** chicken with rice and beans. I ordered the plantains and the sorrel tea. My sister ordered the Callaloo & Ackee and sorrel tea. Every different thing we ordered was equally as good as the last/next. We each tried each others and came to the same conclusion: some of the best food we’ve had anywhere. Would without a doubt recommend and will be eating here again.
