Ordered the love boat as take out and not loving it. The chef chose a fried roll when three items are already fried. It also has mayo on top, I already put no spicy mayo in the note but there was no option for mayo in general. Only two of the short ribs had meat on them, the others were essentially bones outlined with fat. The chicken tastes like the grill, not in a good or subtle way. The portion of rice was also a small cup. Overall not worth the price and the quality was poor. If this were served to my family in restaurant it would have been sent back. Since I live 20 minutes away I guess I'm out over $100 with a pretty bad dinner.

Be careful when ordering take out dinner. The online menu had incorrect prices. They asked for $7.00 more than the prices displayed and will not honor the online price. Screenshot of menu added.
I really like this place. However, tonight was not a good experience. I ordered carry out, which I have done numerous times. When I got the food home, the miso had leaked everywhere, soaking the bag. I tried calling 6 times to report this, last call was at 8:40, but no one would pick up. Why did a lid with a large hole in it end up on the miso? This was a $70 order!

I love doordashing to find out if I should visit a new restaurant; you can be the greatest sushi chef (or whatever you are) in the WORLD but as soon as you ignore a customer in front of your face , and rudly turn around and pretend you didn't hear, when the only question asked was "where do I pick up the order "... that gives me enough to know how you treat your staff and that's not the place I want to eat or buy food from.

The experience with Izumi was not the greatest this time. I coordinated a professional networking dinner, and people were coming and going at an 8 top table. The server was busy and not as attentive, but no problem there. Another woman who was presumably the manager or owner asked if we could move because we had 2 chairs empty. The approach was abrasive and not customer friendly. We moved to help her create a 2 top. We had a good meal as the food was very good but as we finished our drinks two servers pushed a table on to ours. It was very strange when no one informed us that this was going to happen. We were again asked to MOVE as we talked and finished our drinks. We were not willing to move and decided to rush and leave the establishment. This was very disheartening as I have never been treated with disrespect at this place before. I will not be returning and will not recommend this place to others. The customer service was terrible.

This is my favorite sushi place. And it’s great for those who like cooked sushi only. My family is a mix so they have something for everyone. The other dishes they have are delicious!! Love the teriyaki chicken and potstickers. I haven’t had anything I don’t love. 💕
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly for both my 2 year old grandson. And they even made a couple of free rolls for my teen because he was loving the sushi so much the guys behind the counters were impressed and sent him out some top quality rolls to try :)
