Although the food was pretty good, she declined to accept my $50 gift card stating they are only good for one year, when in fact Oregon law states gift cards have no expiration in Oregon. I would have used it sooner, but I ended up with Cancer and was unable to use it. Also nowhere does it state on the receipt or card there is an expiration. The hostess was so kind and actually said she would ask the owner where the original payment went, she called me moments after leaving and said she was told "they just keep the money" I would not recommend purchasing gift cards from this establishment

Visiting the area from Alaska and we couldn't be happier with this accidental find. The service was speedy and the waitress knowledgeable and very nice. The food was great - fresh and flavorful. We would absolutely stop again if we are ever in the area.

The gyu don was very strange. It seemed to have a heavy dashi base or something that clashed horribly with the beef. It also had a more chinese style flavour profile from the vegetables mixed in and how the eggs were cooked. We couldn't eat more than a few bites and were very confused and disappointed. If you're looking for a Japanese style gyu don this is not the place, I'd stick with the sushi.

Ordered the love boat as take out and not loving it. The chef chose a fried roll when three items are already fried. It also has mayo on top, I already put no spicy mayo in the note but there was no option for mayo in general. Only two of the short ribs had meat on them, the others were essentially bones outlined with fat. The chicken tastes like the grill, not in a good or subtle way. The portion of rice was also a small cup. Overall not worth the price and the quality was poor. If this were served to my family in restaurant it would have been sent back. Since I live 20 minutes away I guess I'm out over $100 with a pretty bad dinner.

Be careful when ordering take out dinner. The online menu had incorrect prices. They asked for $7.00 more than the prices displayed and will not honor the online price. Screenshot of menu added.
I really like this place. However, tonight was not a good experience. I ordered carry out, which I have done numerous times. When I got the food home, the miso had leaked everywhere, soaking the bag. I tried calling 6 times to report this, last call was at 8:40, but no one would pick up. Why did a lid with a large hole in it end up on the miso? This was a $70 order!
