Came here after having a horrible experience at Starlight, bartender (Tyler) was amazing! Very kind and had a great attitude. Drinks were AMAZING, my boyfriend and I had the ‘makeout ninja’. Definitely recommend this bar, especially if it’s not too busy🙏🏼

Hats off to the a.m. bartender with the great playlist. I'd never been to this bar before. This past Wednesday evening, I happened to be walking by and got pulled in by Funkadlic's, 'Maggit Brain' playing on the outside speaker. This was followed by some Zappa, Hendricks, and Santana (and so on). I wasn't even planning to drinki that night but stayed for two glasses of wine just to listen the great cuts. What a cool spot! Awesome early 70's (late 60's?) decor. I think I even saw a picture of a Sleastack on the wall (if you know you know). I asked Emma the bartender about the playlist (sweet gal btw) and she said it was put on by the day bartender that morning. Nice job. You pulled me in and got me yo buy drinks!! Cool vibes in this place. I'll definitely be back!!

After reading some other reviews here, I feel compelled to share that I too once had a VERY negative experience with a bouncer here. In fact, this is the only bar in the Eugene/Springfield area where I’ve ever had a problem with the staff.
This happened about 10-12 years ago, and I don’t want to make accusations I can no longer substantiate, but the behavior of their guy was well beyond inappropriate, in my opinion. I would like to elaborate further, but I probably shouldn’t.
I’m just glad that my friends and I were sober at the time, and that he was a very small, although very angry, man. I am also grateful it was a busy night, so there were lots of witnesses to what had happened.
At the time we were able to just walk to another bar and have a good laugh about it, but thinking back now, it really wasn’t funny. So that is why I find every other review about the bouncers here completely believable.

I highly recommend avoiding this place . On the 4ht of July at 10 pm I went to Jamison’s with two friends, when we walked in the guy at the door didn’t even look at my friends Id. I had mine out and ready to go when the “bouncer” guy looks at me and says I’m not allowed in?? I’m too intoxicated to go into the bar…. I was DEADASS SOBER… he said I was stumbling around…. It was cold outside and I was wearing a skirt and tank top so yeah if I was stumbling around it’s because I was shivering my ass off. Tried to tell him multiple multiple times that I was not drunk or impaired but he wasn’t hearing it and made me leave. I’m just not sure why that happened I’ve called Jamison’s twice and left a voicemail for them to call be back but I haven’t heard anything from them. If ur gonna have someone judging my intoxication level at the front then you need to have a god damn breathalyzer because this whole situation is so ridiculous. Swear on the Bible I hadn’t had anything to drink and I was really looking forward to spending the 4th at the bar with my friends. Didn’t get the name of the guy at the fire bc he really had me speechless and shocked bc I thought he was pulling a prank on me but he had mousy brown hair that was long in a ponytail.

The bartenders here have admitted to being aware of women being drugged and are unwilling to help stop it even when asked for help multiple times.
Good for beginning or ending your night, very relaxed atmosphere despite the noise outside
