The food was just not great especially for the price. Service was okay but will not be returning there is much better food in Eugene for a better price with better service as-well.

Food was good in the past but if your gonna close to do a catering event put a post up on Facebook and close the front door. The guy at door was nice about it but after we stepped outside to decide where to go I poped back inside and nicely asked if it would be at all possible to get a slice of cheesecake to go (thinking its already made just needs to be put in a to go box plus it helps get them a sell on something that will go bad in a few days) the girl behind the counter was very snarky in how she said no they are closed and said it so loudly people waiting outside at the next door store over could hear her.

Best food I’ve eaten in a while. It’s a Caribbean-Hawaiian fusion sort of food. I wanted a special drink and they obliged. I wanted something special done for the dish as well and they also obliged. Everything was delicious, highly recommend! 🥰

A friend and I ate here for lunch on Monday. It was frankly horrible. I ordered the rice bowl and I asked later for the side of prawns which were charcoaled black dry and horrible. The prawns added 8$ to the rice bowl price =19 $ or so. I did complain to the server which didn’t receive much response. 48 hours later, I came down with terrible stomach cramps and nausea, which tells me I’m not gonna eat in there ever again
We were walking around shopping and found this place. So glad we did! The atmosphere was fun, the service was friendly, and the food/drinks were delicious! I had the salmon caesar salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the salad was fresh and delicious. I would highly recommend!

What a great restaurant! Johnny Ocean's Grille is located in a nice shopping area with lots of parking and EV charging for those interested. We were seated quickly and the service was as expected. The food was appropriately hot and very tasty! A must visit for those traveling in or near Eugene, OR.

I just had the worst meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I’ve never written a bad review before. The fish and chips was not real fish. It was some kind of reconstituted white fish pressed into cakes and frozen pre-battered. Macdonald quality at best. My wife ordered a Caesar dinner salad that was very small and uninspiring. The bread that came with it had rancid oil on it. I recommend avoiding this restaurant completely. Your money and time will be better spent anywhere else.
