Service was lacking. If a server doesn't at least offer a refill on tea. I chop the tip in half, never return, and leave a crappy review.

I reluctantly give a review on this place because I don't want too many people to know about it it's simply fantastic

First, sat at at table that had not been wiped down or cleaned.
Next, waiter did not listen as I changed my order. I did so because my 6 yr. old wanted skirt steak and they would not let us order it as a substitute for chicken strips or on its own. He brought me both dinners.
Third, never asked to refill the salsa or water glasses when we still had plenty of chips (first and only basket) and my glass was empty for half of dinner.
Had to ask for ketchup twice for my 6 yr. olds fries.
Food was fair at best. I asked for the skirt steak to be medium rare and it came out almost raw. Barely warm.
The chicken in my enchiladas was dry and overcooked.
Workers standing around joking and laughing in Spanish instead of attending to customers.
I used to come here regularly and it was awesome...not any longer!!!

Absolutely great service, atmosphere and great food. I always get the same thing and so does my daughter. It seems to get better and better each time we go and they’ve never gotten our orders incorrectly. It’s also located not far from Valley River Center.
I recommend you try it.

I’m surprised by all of the good reviews for this place. I’m from Texas and know Tex-Mex, this is poor quality Mexican. My husband ordered the skirt steak and shrimp plate and the steak was tough, charred and barely edible. I ordered two tacos - the chili verde pork was actually good and moist but the chicken was dry and flavorless. And don’t order a side salad - it’s just shredded iceberg with a few cubes of diced tomato and some shredded cheese. Our server was fine, met our needs, but nothing special.

I have a specific way I like to order my burritos and not only was the cashier super accommodating but the burrito came out perfect.
It was quiet and very comfortable. Food was good as was the service. I will go back, for sure.
Thought I would try the local Mexican restaurant today. They are ADA compliant and allowed me to bring in my service dog who just laid under the table as usual. The fact that they did not turn me away is awesome. I had the seafood burrito and it was very good. The white sauce on top of it was really special. They serve chips and salsa. The chips come to you hot and it makes a great difference! Their salsa was also very good. They are kind people and their staff increases around 5:00 p.m. When dinner starts. I saw a lot of local people out, regulars who knew the servers. I will support this local business again.
The server did suggest to me a combo meal but I was not that hungry. The burrito was more than enough. But next time I go, I will get a combo. I also saw the table next to me eating some kind of steak. It looked pretty good. I'll try that too!
