My daughter hand-made cute themed invitations for her party and handed them out to her friends. The week of the party, the owner called to cancel. They changed their hours of operation last minute. They would not even make any cupcakes or treats for us so we could have the party at our house. My daughter was devastated. We rebooked last minute to Papas Pizza, but no one came. I have never been back to Mad Batters. So cruel and thoughtless.

Mad Batters is amazing. We ordered a dessert bar with 4 cupcake flavors, cookies, and blondies for our wedding and it was a total hit. There was something for everyone. Going into the store for coffee and a treat is a total experience as well, the store is decorated so cute that you feel you are in Wonderland.

I wanted something delicious, and a good mocha coffee to go with it. Yelp pointed me at Mad Batters!
I walked in, and there were two ladies chatting in a corner. They both got up and greeted me, and started making suggestions... I went with a regular cinnamon roll (and a mocha, of course). They even heated up the cinnamon roll for me a bit. This was probably the best cinnamon roll I have had, in years! Lots of cinnamon, and the icing was not overly sweet. Delicious! Mocha was very good also.
I had checked out the premises while waiting! All sorts of cool little items and paintings, all related to Carrol's Alice in Wonderland. Very nicely done... very peaceful, and made my inner child happy. Their tea room (Tulgey Wood) is wonderful, and would be great for a small child's party (or a adult child's).
The owner (Kandy) was wonderful, very chatty and made me feel right at home!
I think I may make this at least a weekly stop... lots of goodies to try! :)

This place is amazing! It's such a fun theme and decorated beautifully to the max! The staff is super friendly and patient! I loved my iced chai and the fact that it came in an aluminum cup! I didn't eat my treats until a couple of days after purchasing them, they were amazing! I look forward to going back and enjoying the deliciousness of a fresh treat!

This bakery was so whimsical and cute! Plus the food and beverages were delicious. All the decorations are fun to look at. Highly recommend asking about their specialty drinks! They aren’t on the menu but are on the wall to the left of the counter. The strawberry lemonade bar was absolutely killer. Staff was so nice and patient! Just make sure to get there early because those goodies sell out fast!

What a fun and whimsical gem of a bakery. I live in Maryland and my son is in school here, so I ordered cupcakes for his birthday. I knew the minute I called you place the order I made the right decision, the owner was friendly and very patient. When my friends and I went to pick up the cupcakes, we ended up staying for coffee and sweet treats, another great decision, we ended up sitting in the tea room for an hour just enjoying our time. The cupcakes for my son were amazing. Mad Batters will now be a staple every time I come out.

Mad Batters is a true local gem. The owner, Candy is so friendly and goes out of her way to make your event special. Inside is super cute with its Alice in Wonderland theme and the back room is perfect for coffee date with friends. Their bakery case is small and the items rotate so if you have a favorite, you should call ahead to see if they have any in stock. They serve tons of drink options as well. Seasonal coffees, flavored drinks and tea. Candy catered my son’s wedding. We did a cake testing that was just incredible and we ended up ordering a beautiful assortment for a dessert bar. They delivered and set it all up and we got compliments all night. I recommend the Sweet Child o Mine cake shots and the wonderbars. Other favorites were Devil went down to Georgia, hero cookies and anything chocolate! We should have listened to her advice on quantity because we bought more than we needed but having dessert leftovers was yummy and the cake shots stayed fresh for about 4-5 days. They also did a small wedding cake that was gorgeous and exactly what they wanted. Ask her about her wedding cake offer. She does something special if you are the type that wants to save a piece for the one year anniversary. Overall A+
