I always go to Magpie when I have an essay or a test to study for. I have a summer class I am wrapping up for and went in last week. I love how much sunlight there is and I always get an iced latte with oat milk and usually a baked good. I got the biscuit with butter and jam this time and it was really good. The staff is also really friendly and the music is at a good volume. I really recommend it for a nice study spot.

The coffee was good and the coffee cake was tasty. But as with every service industry now days you tip before receiving anything. As soon as I hit the tip (which was 20percent) the staff seemed annoyed if I asked for anything.
I politely asked if they could go light on the ice after I watched them fill someone else’s cold brew to the top with ice and they seemed annoyed that I asked. I also asked if they wouldn’t mind warming my coffee cake but it felt like I was asking them to do me a huge favor.
Not a welcoming atmosphere at all. Will not tip ahead of time anymore.

This is a “template” poser coffee place. I ordered an Americano and Avocado Toast. Americano was horribly made. Clearly the “baristas” can’t pull a shot and the beans are bad. My son and I both trashed our drinks after maybe drinking 1/4 of the cup. Avocado toast was gross. Overly salty and not made with fresh avocados- on a wimpy piece of toast. $1 worth of ingredients for $8. Maddening. Great location apparently doesn’t require quality goods. Gave 2 stars because gentleman at POS was very friendly.

Just awful. Gave it 3 try’s. The espresso is horribly pulled and the milk not textured at all. All three drinks I threw away after one sip. Don’t waste your money.

the mag-muffin sandwich was great. pistacho rose latte could’ve been sweeter but the barista quickly and happily added a couple more pumps of syrup for us

My daughter wanted a peppermint mocha and we were told they crush candy canes on the top but there was no peppermint flavor at all. We were told later if we had ordered whipped cream it comes with the crushed candy canes. My friend ordered a matcha chai and she said it was disgusting. My eggnog mocha was decent. The place was so busy we couldn't sit at a table inside or hear each other speak. There was available seating outside under giant overhead heaters but it was still chilly with the crisp winter breeze. Located in the 5th Street Avenue Alley with a free 3 hour limit parking lot nearby.

Really, I was disappointed visiting your place , they don't deliver the order to your table, or clean after you , but the TIP is a must when you pay !! They have the water station, with an EMPTY JUG , I asked the water..she said we are out, and handed me a cup filled from the faucet. !!! Why ???
