We just got appetizers but we're thoroughly thrilled... the calamari was tender and perfectly cooked! The potsticks were very tasty and the green beans were perfect. Was exactly what I hoped for and much more. Each came with its own dipping sauce which was also perfect and SOO tasty!!!

Delicious! I have never had pacific island food-glad I took the plunge and tried something new. The teriyaki chicken was cooked perfectly. The side of slaw was amazing-just the right amount of dressing. I shared this generous serving with a friend. I loved their location at Oakhouse Public Brewery on Madison.

First time at Makuahine's Pacific Islands Streatery and I loved it. I got the Garlic Chicken which is marinated and breaded Chicken covered in Sticky Garlic Sauce. You also get 2 scoops of Rice , Macaroni Salad, and Namasu (Asian Pickled Cucumbers. The Chicken was juicy and spiced to perfection. The Macaroni Salad was well seasoned and not dripping with Mayonnaise. The Chicken Potstickers were crispy and perfect. The Namasu was so crunchy and refreshing, I could have eaten double what I was served.

I'm surprised there is only one review! This guy knows what he's doing! Probably some of the best Kalua Pork I've ever had (and I make some amazing Kalua Pork!). The Mac salad was also bomb. Stu (the owner) was fun, friendly, and chill. We shared pictures of our dogs for a good 30 minutes. And the best part? He follows sanitation and health guidelines for COVID precautions. Definitely recommend!

If you have the chance, this is some of the best Hawaiian food I've had. I just asked Stew, the owner, what he recommended and just went with what he recommended. He did not disappoint; this was easily the best meal my girlfriend and I had on our vacation. If you have the chance you should definitely get some food here.
