Went twice for breakfast burritos. Small, first time, large second. Had the potato, egg, cheese and beans. Good flavor, although next time, I'll ask for the potatoes to be more well done. Homemade tortillas were very good. Small order of guacamole the first time, which was also good. Three hot sauces in squeeze bottles... Red, Green, and Habanero. Since they advertise *breakfast* burritos, and do serve coffee, I was disappointed that there was no tea available. The room is basic and clean. You bus your own table. A good find for authentic Mexican. Will try, soon, for dinner.

Truly the best Mexican restaurant in eugene! Im pescatarian and it's always hard to find good food alternatives at restaurants, but Mama Mayra's vegetarian options and shrimp tacos never disappoints! Amazing homemade food for great prices. Service is also always amazing. My boyfriend and I stop by at least once every few weeks, and I've recommended to all my friends in town! The place is never super busy when I come in, Mama Mayra's kitchen deserves to packed with business and a must stop spot :)

I loved the service from the time I stepped in, the lady was so nice. I felt welcomed! Then we are the food! OMG! It was amazing. I've been all over the world, including Mexico (about 6 times), and this is one of the best places I've ever ate at. The tacos were better than Mexico & the tamales were mouth watering. My wife got enpenadas. I had to steal a bite! It was amazing!

When they say homemade, they mean it. So good. Gotta be the best fish tacos I've ever had. My husband had the combo with roasted chicken, carrots, potatoes, etc and was raving. We'll be back!

The term "best" gets thrown around a lot and doesn't always reflect what you get. When you read "best breakfast burrito" on the window of this awesome little spot they aren't messing around. I always get the large with chorizo and potatoes. I think it's 7 bucks and worth every penny. Staff is super friendly and definitely make sure you get both hot sauces. Green is spicier but there's something awesome about the blend of the green and red on the best breakfast burrito in town.
Awesome breakfast burritos. Had their egg/ cheese/potato, vegetarian and chorizo burritos. A hungry adult could eat either 2 of their small burritos if wanting to try a couple of diff'rent ones or have one large if you know exactly what you like. The restaurant is large, clean with good counter service.

Everything was really good. I would get it all again. Chips were perfectly salted and the salsa has a little kick to it. As for the tacos, very authentic. I'll be back.

There is some excellent Mexican food to be found in Eugene, and Mama Mayra's is definitely leading the pack. Don't let the humble store front, or "mom and pop" feel deter you... from the rice to the tortillas and tamales, to the wide variety of meat options or vegetarian selections, everything is done with excellence.
