Stopped in at Mami’s Mexican Grill on W 11th with Laura and Hunter for the Mami’s Nachos with carne asada. The grilled steak was tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned, pairing beautifully with the creamy guacamole and tangy sour cream. Hunter bet me $500 he could finish the plate—he didn’t come close! I also tried the guava Mexican cola (tropical, sweet, and fizzy) while Laura had the pineapple—both were delicious. Friendly service here every time. Highly recommend!
I figured I’d try the double steak burrito wet because it sounded delicious. Too me it just had no flavor at all. The street tacos were way tastier and I would probably reorder. Texture wise I couldn’t tell the difference between the beans the asada and the guacamole. Being as I love spicy food I thought I would enjoy the chipotle cheese and I absolutely did not enjoy it at all. Wanted to go back here as it had been about 7 years since I had it. Didn't seem as good as when it opened. Food took a very long time and seemed pretty average. I remember it being tasty before so I may go back and see if this was maybe just an off day
