They must've seen how sappy me and my romantic partner were being, because they put us in the most "Lady and the Tramp" part of the restaurant, right in front of the gas fireplace. The service was great (Leo 🤘) and we ended up cleaning our plates. Well done.

Waited 75 minutes for food. But what do you expect when they ignore you for 20 minutes! Waiting unapologetic, arrogant, argumentative

We're in eugene for a few days for a birthday with friends. The food was delicious. I had the chicken parmesan, my husband had the calzone. Server was friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Paired the right wine for our meals. Wish we had a place like this back home in Bend. Wish we would've saves room for desert, but we will be back for sure next time coming to eugene.

I've heard that Mazzi's is nothing like it used to be. That's not been my experience. The lasagna is still old worldly. Just like Tomazzi Ernandes made in the 70's.

Unimpressed. Dined here 7/3 with family. Service was slow and not very attentive. Music was loud and annoying, we asked them to turn it down and they (maybe?) did, but only temporarily.

Food was tasteless. I had eggplant Parmesan and it tasted like it had tempura breading, not Italian bread crumbs as is traditional. Sauce had no flavor either. Tiny blob of spaghetti marinara on the side, blah. Caesar salad, ditto. Croutons were like little square rocks. Even the rolls had no flavor, perhaps they forgot the salt in the dough?

Anyway, we tried it b/c town was busy and B & G doesn’t take reservations. Won’t make that mistake again!

It's been awhile since we have been to Mazzi's, but something has changed over the years. The calazone sauce is bland and watery, the rolls which we used to love were hard as rocks and service was mediocre. To say the least we won't be back. Is there a new owner? New cook? New recipe charges? Yuck. For the small quantity and poor quality of food from what it used to be, they are way over priced. I can get a better Calazone from Winco Foods.

My family started coming to Mazzi's in the fall of 1971 when I was only 1, really right at their beginning. It was our Sunday dinner for years. Now it is where we celebrate our momentous occasions. I got engaged here in 1990. We celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, go after memorials, take our out-of-town guests or simply to have a lovely family meal.

The atmosphere hasn't changed, and the kind and attentive service hasn't either, along with their roll recipe, house Italian dressing, and amazing lasagna and calzone!

I have compared every italian place to the Eugene Mazzi's my entire life. The only place to compare was John's of 12th in NYC which has been in the same location since 1908.

Took dad out for early fathers day. We were able to get seated right away, had manicotti, seafood fettichini, and rigotoni -- all was amazingly good; even the rolls were excellent. The only blip on service was water glasses went dry. Amazing experience will go back

The food was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. Now I know why it's been nearly 30 years since I've been. Had the calzone and the crust was soggy, liquid from the mushrooms and sauce pouring out. Made for the crust to be gooey and non-edible.
My friend had the seafood fettuccine and it was bland and barely any seafood.
Very disappointing.
The Atmosphere was great the service could have been better, not once did they ask how the food was. Had they have asked I would have pointed out my dissatisfaction.
If the food was better I would have no issues supporting a local business.
Get it right Mazzi's and do a little spice change up.
