Everything was top notch, from the food to the service and the overall ambience. My favorite dish is their beef lasagna. The thick sauce is wonderful, not too salty. Lots of cheese and the meat is seasoned just right, and again, not too salty or “watery” as lasagne can often be at restaurants.

Amazing! The food was excellent, they also had a wide variety of food, ranging from Caesar Salad to steak and short ribs. We had pizza, ravioli, lasagna, and short ribs. Our server was very nice, giving us attention unlike other restaurants. Our server also helped us with choosing a dish. I loved the atmosphere of the whole place too. The wait time was around an hour, pretty average for Italian restaurants. This is overall a really good restaurant to choose.Parking: Very busy on weekends

Like many Italian restaurants it was way too expensive for mediocre pasta. Entrees starting at $25 and mine was covered in a 1/2 inch layer of motz. If that's you're thing, do it. Hard pass for me. Server was beyond fake with every interaction as we watched them drop their smile the second they turned away. Decent space with a fireplace but for the price I'd rather make it myself.

Our Friday dinner reservation meant we would be in at a busy time. However, the food was very good. The eggplant Parmesan was the best I ever tasted. Our salad needed more dressing but was a generous serve. Mazzi's meals are always hearty.

We expected better. Have been here before and really enjoyed the food and service. Last night was a disappointment because the pasta sauce was too much like tomato paste and the salmon was over cooked and dry. Service was a slow (they were very busy), but if the food had been good, it would have been fine because it a a cozy place to sit and chat.

We were celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary and everything was perfect. We had a 5 PM reservation and were seated immediately in the back room as requested. Our waitress Maddie was delightful and efficient. We shared the large Ceasar salad (it was delicious) and we both had the short ribs that were ridiculously tasty. My second time ordering the ribs and my husbands first he loved them so much I thought he was going to lick the plate. Finished the meal with vanilla Panna Cotta with berrie compote that was just the ticket for our delightful anniversary dinner. Thanks to the staff at Mazzi's for making our day special.

The food was delicious, on the pricier side but worth it with good portion sizes. The place was pretty packed which caused the food to take longer but I understood that they were busy. Also the butter was cold for the rolls and it would have been nice if they served the butter warm. Overall I had a great experience and I would love to go back.Vegetarian options: Pasta with eggplant, stuffed mushrooms, salads, desserts, veggie calzone, veggie lasagnaKid-friendliness: They have multiple rooms and no bar that I noticed but it is on the fancier side so I would recommend to mature kids. Also I am not sure if there was a kids menu but there probably is.

Pretty overpriced for the quality of food. The chicken marsala was bland and dissapointing, and the blueberry cheesecake was downright gross. However the stuffed mushrooms were great and the Anne's pasta was pretty decent. Either way, still far too expensive. Also the seating was extremely cramped and while we sat inside, the table we were given was a metal patio table which made sitting and eating uncomfortable. Since we visited on valentine's day, I'm sure there were more tables than usual, but its clear quality was comprised for quantity. Its a cute place but it wasnt the best experience.
We have been eating at Mazzi's for 46 years and never have been disappointed. It's one of our favorite places. The lasagna and linguini/meat sauce/meatball were perfect, and the wine selection was excellent.

Always first rate! Service is attentive without being intrusive. Brett is great at anticipating the table's needs. Fast bar with perfect drinks. The food is always well-prepared and the prices are almost too reasonable. Can't wait to return!

We arrived on time, and they had our seating area set up perfect next to the fireplace as I asked for our anniversary the weight staff was excellent maître seating again had it all set up for us service was beyond exceptional, and our waiter treated us as we were as if we were the only ones there an excellent menu excellent food and service. We've been going there since 1972 and it's one of the only establishments that stayed true to its taste and customer care.

My wife and I have eaten at Mazzi's for 45 years. It was the go to restaurant for our family. Serving were always generous and delicious. In that time many changes have occurred in staffing and food preparation. Though Mazzi's is a very fun Italian restaurant, I remember when the chef was a one of the best in Eugene. Hie food flavors were seasoned to a level where they were sophisticated and nuanced beyond the typical Italian food kind of place. Meals now are still generous with quality ingredients but as not full flavored. I remarked after our recent meal, What happened to aroma of garlic wafting through the restaurant?" The scent of Italian spices needs to come back and provid the proper ambiance for Eugene's best known Italian restaurant.
