I moved to Eugene in 2022 and MetroBru quickly became my favorite coffee kiosk/shop in town. The drinks are always great - consistent with good flavor and careful preparation (I cannot tell you how many times I have been handed a leaking/drippy drink at Starbucks or Dutch Bros over the years, but this never happens at MetroBru). The staff is always super friendly - special shout out to Katy, Angie, and Mia. My personal favorite drink is the blended mocha which has some great espresso/coffee flavor, is never sickeningly sweet as some blended beverages tend to be, and is always perfectly blended without being too thick or icy. They also have a rotating "specials" menu for various seasons/holidays which are lovely and unique. I only wish they had more than 1 location in the area. Keep up the great work!

Always a great time visiting Metro! Oat milk lattes are steamed to the perfect temp and sweetness can be adjusted to however you like so you can truly enjoy your drink. The barista was in a great mood early in the AM and offered fun chit chat while making our drinks. My experience was wonderful, the girls at the counter were super nice and all worked together to get me my food/drink faster. Breakfast sandwich was good, wish I knew the only option for meat was sausage, I like bacon more, but the sandwich is huge and worth the money. Lavender Latte was delicious. The only suggestion I would have to improve is to be careful how long to sit and talk with customers. I was on my way to work and the girl at the counter sat and talked to the girl in the car in front of me for about 5-10 min after she had already received her order, and if I hadn't left early that morning I probably would've been late for work. Overall happy and will be back.

We found this place looking for coffee on our way to grab food and head to the coast.We decided to skip getting food elsewhere and all loaded up on either the veggie or sausage breakfast bagel.The dirty vanilla chai and spicy chai were apparently great, the Americano with oat milk was also good.Breakfast sandwiches were huge fluffy bagels. We went on our merry way.. happy to it have to stop and contentedly fill for a couple hours.I’ve been back every morning to grab coffee on the way to work and every interaction has been friendly and pleasant!
UPDATE TO ADD: I want to clarify that the employee was not new, so this is not an issue with a new hire in training. She's been there for at least this whole year, with long brown hair.This has been my fave coffee place for 2 years, but recently my experiences have been upsetting every time I swing by. The employees are either unhappy or just plain rude, they consistently forget to hand me my food, and when I ask where it is, they say "oh sorry forgot to charge you for it". No, I'll pass, you forgot it, you gave me attitude since pulling up, I won't pay for anything else at this point. Please go back to being a welcoming and pleasant part of my mornings.

Great coffee. The baristas were super nice and served us even though we walked up to the stand instead of driving up! You'd be surprised how many drive through places won't serve you if you're on foot, so we were pleasantly surprised!

This place is my new go-to coffeeshop in/near West Eugene. They can get busy, but they keep the line moving at a reasonable pace. Best of all, the drinks are consistently great tasting which is not always a common occurrence and something I truly appreciate. I also happen to like their logo/branding, but it's not carried over on their cups which is a missed opportunity IMO. My only real criticisms have to do with pricing and service from one specific member of the staff. I generally don't mind paying a premium for a better product and understand inflation has hit us all, but I wish the service was a bit more warm at times. There has to be happy middle-ground between Dutch Bros level of aggressive politeness and utter indifference. Personal favorite drink: Mocha Chiller - not too sweet, not too icy, and a nice punch of espresso flavor.

I was just coming here to drop a wordless 5-star review and then I got caught up reading negative comments from people... I go to Metro Bru every day, sometimes more than once a day. O_O Look I'm gonna say it: the customer is NOT always right. I had some other things typed up, but it sounded combative (and it was). Anyway, haters gonna hate. Keep up the good work Metro Crew (I just thought of that). Maybe this means fewer people in front of me ordering hot food on a busy morning. ?

This used to be my favorite coffee shop but lately the ladies working in the afternoon are just RUDE. They don't greet you, say hello or engage in any conversation. From the time you get to the window they seemed just annoyed that you are even there. Good luck getting a 'have a good day' or 'thanks for stopping by.' Hire new staff!
