We ate here on 9/9 while on a bicycle trip. We sat outside which was comfortable and not too noisy as traffic was light. The food was tasty - you order at the counter and it's brought to you. The restaurant was fairly busy but service was good.

I/we recently had the Hearty Fungus Pizza and twas the most enjoyable Pizza I/we have had in a while. Each time we are positively impressed by food quality, taste; as well being the service quality, and communication.

The best pizza in Eugene. DOP is too strict. They are excellent but Mezza Luna is like the line in Desolation Row “you debutante just knows what you need, but I know what you want.”
Vegetarian options: Pizza with veggies - what more is there?
Dietary restrictions: They have a vegan and GF selection that is quite good from what I hear.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a parlor, and if your kid is a jerk, have the decency to leave. I’ve got nothing against children who are well behaved and entertaining.
Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a lot in the back in case on street parking is full.

First time visiting. Half my rating is service and half is the food. Service is always the first impression food is the last. Walked in and the two employees at the counter were talking to each other. Walked up to counter and they kept talking. I had questions but their conversation was more important. Quickly ordered a couple pies (and they went back to their conversation). Service was non existent. Pizza was just eh. Should have just grabed a frozen pizza went back and cooked it. There's a lot of small biz restaurants that want to win over their customers. I'd skip this one.
It's about as good as a slice of NYC style pizza gets. Flavorful sauce, real cheese. Friendly people, and it's only four bucks for a gigantic slice

Best NY style pizza that we've had in the area since moving from the east coast! One of the things we miss most about living on the east coast is the pizza, and this place delivers on that flavor and nostalgia. We eat here (mostly to-go) often and it has never disappointed!

Staff was marginally helpful to start and incredibly insolent at the end, on 8/12/24. Apparently counter staff (and ownership?—I’m not sure) thinks treating customers respectfully is not important. Food is OK but not good enough to make me subject myself to that insolence again. I’d been going to ML for years but no more. There are so many other options where the food is great and where common courtesy and manners are the business model, and that’s where I’ll be going from now on. ML, you may have good reviews now, but I promise you that rude service will take you down.
