Vegan chicken and collards were delicious! Nice to have options, even better when the options are this tasty. Will definitely be coming back here.
Superb chicken - crunchy crispy skin, perfect seasoning blend, great heat (if you want it - but of course you do!). Sides (grits, collards, coleslaw or fries) are all excellent. This place rocks.. .
Today I couldn’t make up my mind what I wanted for lunch and remembered seeing this place on Blair and wanting to try! Well today was the day and let me say: SO GOOD! I got the chicken sandwich (medium heat) with a side of coleslaw and I’m blown away with the size of the sandwich & the flavor! 10/10 will be coming back again for my lunches and bringing my friends with.
New in town, so, I've been looking for good spots and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. It was some of the crispiest, juiciest, and overall best tasting pieces of chicken I've had in a while. The people that work there were incredibly friendly and just really cool. It made for a nice atmosphere. You can tell there's a lot of care and passion into the food and business itself. It's a great shop I'll definitely be frequenting.
I had the spicy chicken sandwich, pork collards, and cheesy grits. The food was really, really good. They bring new meaning to the word crispy in a crispy chicken sandwich The staff was extremely friendly. The spice levels kick in pretty quick so if you don't like spicy food I recommend you getting the original. The mild was nice and spicy, the medium very spicy, we did not try the hot.
Excellent fried chicken, and good, personable service. You can tell they marinate it, it's flavorful and juicy through out, and the crunch is great. I got the medium and even though I eat hot peppers every day it was still plenty spicy. I'll definitely be back.
I tried the Chicken sandwich and pork collards. The chicken thigh was crispy, spicy and perfectly tender/juicy. The collards were rich and well seasoned. I loved it
We got there at 7pm on a Saturday night and were lucky to grab the last chicken sandwich. Within the hour, they completely sold out of all menu items. My family doesn't usually like grits, but we loved Wiley's version. And I don't usually like coleslaw, but I loved it. Best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. While this may seem like more of a take-out place, the outstanding friendly service we received while we dined in made us feel like we were truly guests. The owner even shared that he has cooked for Anthony Bourdain multiple times and has worked at many award winning restaurants prior to this. We will be back!KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:- Seating = bar stools/counter, there are no tables- Bathroom is available but you need to go outside, behind the restaurant- You bus your own table- Ask for the house made buttermilk ranch!- The medium fried chicken is spicy, if you have low tolerance get mild.- Try to get there earlier, as they tend to sell out
If you haven't been here already, you'd better get down to 541 Blair and check it out asap! This chicken has thee most perfect crispy layer, much like a chip, that encapsulates each piece of tender juicy chicken with consistency every time. The heat variety is sure to please across the board and each special seems to be more creative and delicious than the last.
The only Nashville style fried chicken around these parts. I had the spicy chicken sandwich. I ordered medium-hot, but was counseled to go mild (which was pretty spicy, honestly). The chicken portion was generous, crispy and juicy! The fried chicken is finished in duck fat and coated liberally in a proprietary rub (the bourbon smoked paprika was noticeable, and delicious!). The chicken is breaded in a specially ground flour mixture and very well seasoned. The pickles were crunchy and tasty, the perfect cool acidity to cut through the heat. Served up on a fluffy locally baked bun. This sandwich is on it's own level, there really isn't anything around here to compare it to. The description includes some sobriques like "antibiotic-free", " local", and "organic". I will definitely be going back, but this time I will try the "medium" spicy.

I went in there and everything was on point. The service, the food and hospitality. I will eat there over and over again! Thank you so much for a great experience! Love you guys!!!!
Called about 3 for some chicken sandwiches and they only had 1 left! Nabbed it, along with a leg quarter basket and a wing basket. Got all at the hot level. The sauce was not only hot, but flavorful! And the chicken leg and thigh were juicy as heck! The wings were crunchy and juicy too. Really a great place for chicken. Ordered takeout, took a bit but worth the wait as the food was hot when we finally received it.
I love this place! Went within the first couple weeks of them opening and have been back multiple times. I’m not sure what the one star review is talking about…I am not super into spice and felt the mild was perfect :) weird. Anyways, will be back many more times! Amazing chicken. My boyfriend loves the chicken sandwich and all of the chicken that they offer, and I do too.
This is the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! It’s so crispy and juicy. I can’t even explain it you have to try it! The grits were out of this world as well.
Unique, delicious, high quality chicken. You can tell a lot of thought was put into it. Really, really, good. Will recommend and come back. Probably the best fried chicken spot in Eugene. The owner seems like a nice guy, too. Staff was very friendly. Definitely coming back.
