Nelson's Taqueria + Nelson’s in the Whit

They messed up our take out order. Called them up and they said they would give us a credit for another order. When we called in a few weeks later the guy on the phone was very rude and hung up on me. Bad service. Plus the food they did send in the messed up order was terrible. Definitely would not recommend or return.

Fantastic happy hour burrito.

Loved sitting outside and basking in the queerness of this place! Service was amazing and kind. You’ve gotta go for happy hour and get at least a mint mojito and carne asada fries!

First of all I hafta go back cuz I couldn't order everything I wanted at once on the menu. Possibly the best Paloma I have ever had! Happy hour till 6 on Monday for the win!! The strawberry watermelon margarita was excellent as well. Plenty of tequila options for blanco fans like myself. The special was birria tamales, which our waitress suggested and I quickly changed my order. The birria tamales were top notch. My wife had the vegetarian burrito which was hugemongous. She had a mango habanero margarita that I avoided sipping on cuz the spice. Her hot honey blackberry margarita was tasty though. Overall great service and experience. Ill try the food cart for a to go order.

I’ve never had a less-than-outstanding experience at Nelson’s. The people are awesome, the atmosphere is nice and the food is the best in the area, in my opinion.

Great food and service. Friendly owner and staff. Probably the very best Mexican food in Eugene and Springfield. Highly recommended! The owner runs a sorta food truck during the day on the side of the restaurant and in the evenings they open the restaurant for business. Ask for Nelson or Jordan!

Ordered a taco salad and got bean dip with lettuce and 3 pieces of chicken. What a waste of money. Save yourself the disappointment and just go to mucho gusto!

Burritos are a bit on the sloppy side, but that's nothing a fork/spoon/your hand can't cure.

Good quality ingredients, good selection, excellent neighborhood eating spot, been coming here for a long time.
