Delicious! And so reasonably priced. Crunchy coconut shrimp w/o a trace of oil, grilled prawn roll, halibut, & fries crispy as requested. Eating outside on their patio on such a pretty day. Everyone, but particularly Mason, was so pleasant & helpful to us. Thank you!

Their seafood is outstanding and the prices aren't too bad tell you what we usually make a trip to newport twice a year newmans is actually better than alot better than alot of places in newport and the prices are better there even better than Mos but that's not saying much considering their chowder is greasy and way too much butter and their menu items are pretty bad newmans is actually better too than seafood market in Eugene too the food there is pretty greasy.

On July 28th I got food poisoning at newmans Grotto on coburg.cod fish tasted bad and nothing like I remembered from a few years back. Fries bad too they were cooked in the same rancid oil as the fish and tasted terrible because of it newmans goodbye forever!
