Best waffle in town and their gluten free! We love eating organic!
I'm from Wyoming and love waffles so it is a place I try to do when in town. They were a bit drier than usual but still delicious. I think adding the bacon would have added more flavor , but I'll return again.
I had the Hey Bob with a side of bacon and a cup of coffee. I thought the entire meal was delicious! I loved the melted Havarti cheese over the apple slices.
Got The Hey Bob and it was yummy! I wish the apples had been warm and not room temperature. But otherwise it was still good and I enjoyed my experience. It was a nice blend of sweet and savory that really worked for me.
Wonderful!
I'm giving a 5 for service and atmosphere because it was mother's day and although we had to wait an hour for our food once we ordered, the service and atmosphere was good. Staff was friendly, and atmosphere was too. The food was unique and creative, good balance of the flavors, nothing was overwhelming. Thank you, we will be back. Rory was a delight. Thank you to them as well.
There really is little to no point in placing an order online for pickup at this location. I recommend not going to this location at all, for that matter.
On three separate occasions I have arrived shortly before the time of the order, been told it would take 15 minutes, proceeded to wait around 3 times that, all while being told it was almost ready. Meanwhile, I am watching people with orders I have confirmed had a later pickup than mine walk out the door (including orders that were substantially larger than mine). Lying to a customer's face when they can tell you are lying is just not a great way to run a business. The real kicker was when they realized they messed up and offered me a *free orange juice*, which at that point was more insulting than anything else. That cup of juice cost the business pennies and that is the gesture when they make a mistake? Jokes on me for always leaving a good tip, I guess.
They truly do not have a good system to make sure they are actually providing adequate service to their customers, at all. It seems clear to me at this point that the issue is as much the way the business is run as it was the employees themselves, as this issue has happened repeatedly and I have witnessed it happen to others while I have waited. Ultimately, I will not be returning to this location and will be advising others not to do so.
Go to the location in South Eugene where you can get the same good waffles, but with actually acceptable customer service that makes you feel like they *want* your business.
Off The Waffle Downtown is an awesome treat for a breakfast/lunch. The waffles we always get straight FIRE. Everything tastes fresh, and definitely quality. The coffee is good, and I’m a bit of a coffee snob so it’s definitely pretty good. The staff is always super friendly, super helpful, fun chill atmosphere, and it’s always clean inside. Be sure to grab a bag of waffles to go, you won’t regret taking my advice.
I’ve heard it said that it’s expensive for how much food you get, but that’s not really the point of the place, and I willing to bet you’ll enjoy grabbing a bite at Off The Waffle Downtown.
A little expensive, but hey, if that makes the place as cool as it is then I understand!
Waffles were AMAZING!! 😋 Honestly BEST I've ever had.
Coffee, not so great. I was just not a fan. Great atmosphere, amazing staff very friendly & welcoming!

Everyone that works here is super nice, great quality food for a quick breakfast or lunch. Definitely try the hot sauce too! Would come back
Horrible ownership. Don't support them.
Unfortunately, this place isn't what it used to be. To start, it's been a few years since we've been back to OTW. I guess the other Willamette location closed (after this experience, it makes more sense)
My brother, his girl, and I came here to enjoy us a yummy waffle like we have in the past many times before. There was only ONE person running the entire place. He took our order after waiting 10 mins. He was flustered, running back and forth multitasking, and we felt so bad after he told us (we had already ordered and paid when he told me). We, of course, understood that it would take about 30-40 mins to get our food considering the circumstances. We got our food, and it wasn't the greatest, but we still enjoyed it. Needless to say, I don't think we will be back, and to be frank, the owners don't seem to care about their employees if they can't have at least 2-3 people per shift. They really shouldn't have been open that morning, so I commend that guy sticking around with a decent line and making all the food, running the place all BY HIMSELF. Give him a raise, or I hope he finds a less stressful job where he has more staff support.
Shame on the owners... Honestly, when things get that bad, you should be making an appearance yourself to help.
This was an amazing experience. I've heard of these waffles before but today was my first time trying them. It was so good! Mine had bacon and egg and cheese and syrup. Delicious.
But even more impressive was the service. The guy that helped me (Monday morning, 9:00a.m.) was polite, and helpful and even went as far as to go get me silverware and a couple napkins after he served me the food.
All in all a great experience and a great way to start the week.
Will be back and will bring my family.
Owner (Omer Orian) was very rude and offered us OTW coupons instead of a refund after we found a bug in the food. Would not recommend, food was cold and overall atmosphere was not enjoyable
