I visited with family and had one of their waffles with cheese, bacon, and maple syrup. It was only one waffle. It cost too much. I had expected a filling meal for the price. There was the option of adding a single egg for three bucks which I declined, believing it would not be called for.The people are friendly and engaging. The place is clean. It's not fancy or upscale. Either make bigger waffles or serve two for that price. Find a way to delight your customers. Not worth going out of my way to visit.

I figured I knew what i was doing when I ordered "The Swanson." Eggs, bacon, waffles. Can't be that special, right? Then this glorious mess of food came out piled in what I can only describe as a delicious bed of breakfast foods. I've had these three things before. Never before have I had them piled together to be eaten in one bite. Flavor explosion would be an understatement. So good! One hell of a first impression. Will definitely be back and for sure will recommend!

Food was great! I highly recommend both savory and sweet waffles. And coffee was fresh brewed, hot and delicious.

Take it from a real Belgian, Liège waffles are not eaten with toppings. They're already overly sweet thanks to the pearl sugar .... waffles that call for toppings are the Brussels waffle. I really wish this trend would stop. Liège waffles are made to eat on their own while walking around town or with tea/coffee mid afternoon. Give it a try!

A Delightful Brunch at Off The Waffle in Eugene!Upon my recent visit to Off The Waffle in Eugene, I was met with an experience that was as delightful as it was flavorful. The service was commendable, with the manager going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Despite the minor inconvenience of requiring a bathroom key, which was a tad frustrating, the overall ambiance and attention to customer happiness stood out.The dish that graced our table was a visual and gastronomic pleasure: a perfectly crisped waffle lay beneath a generous layer of crisp bacon, ripe avocado slices, a beautifully fried egg, and a dusting of spices that suggested a thoughtful culinary touch. The experience was not just in the eating but also in the presentation, which was executed with care. While the need for a bathroom key might be a point of contention for some, it is a small blip in an otherwise stellar dining experience. "Off The Waffle" is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional brunch spot in Eugene. The service, quality, and ambiance combine to create a meal that is, quite simply, great.

The store was run by one person (not sure if it’s normal or short-staffed) but we still received great service and food.

Excellent food and outstanding, kind service. Somewhat small quantity for the price, but the quality and chill atmosphere make up for it.
