Ojisan is a cool spot with an aesthetic looking bar and wood paneling. Great atmosphere and playlist with some very tasteful reggae (love stick figure). The miso ramen was good - no complaints. Would come again for a friends’ dinner out or a date night

I ordered the chicken Karrage?? With rice and Mac salad. It was great! Really great! I liked it a lot. I don’t really care for their teriyaki sauce. They have a nice spicy mayo that’s good. Another ginger shoyu type broth that I liked. I’m not a big fan of their Ramen, however. Their broth has an overwhelmingly gamey/burnt taste, and I just didn’t care for it. Their pork bellies are amazing! Overall, I’d like to try more things on their menu, including their Tempura. The presentation on all their food, especially their Ramen is excellent. I don’t think it’s better than Tokyo Tonkahatsu, but it’s good.

I’ve had great experiences with Ojisan when I dine in.. I however was not feeling well tonight so ordered food to go. Big mistake. Found practically the entire egg shell intermingled with my ramen noodles making it uneatable. I let the first bite go because I assumed it was a small piece but the chunks of eggshell just got bigger and bigger. I am already sick and not feeling well and got so grossed out I had to throw the entire thing of ramen away. I’m giving 2 stars because I called them and they were nice and said they’d refund the ramen but that will take a few days so we will see if they keep their word. It’s almost so bad if I don’t see a refund I may go back in person. But will likely never get ramen from here again. Back to Tokyo Tonkatsu.

The food was mediocre at best, the bed of radishes the chicken came on was completely expired.. and the chicken was edible?

Tried both Shoyu and Tan Tan ramen- the broth was flavorful, not at all spicy. The service was quick and staff was friendly.
Service and atmosphere were wonderful! But. I was really hopeful for their vegan ramen, since this is a ramen place I figured they'd have to do it well. I was mistaken. I'm guessing whoever made their vegan ramen recipe is a meat eater who thinks vegan food is supposed to taste mediocre. Most of the vegetables tasted like they came from a can. The broth was just okay. The noodles were good! But not enough to make up for the lack of flavor. It's nice they have a vegan option, but please try a little harder.

We enjoyed our dinner at Ojisan Ramen this evening. The restaurant was so modern, vibrant and welcoming. My husband enjoyed the Tan Tan ramen (spicy), while I enjoyed their vegetarian ramen. My vegetarian ramen was packed with flavor and offered in miso, shoyu, or curry base. I went with the curry option based off the recommendation of our server and man, it did not disappoint. We will return soon. Thank you!

This review is for Cheyenne. I stopped in the other night looking for help with a takeout order and questions about the drink menu. Cheyenne mixed me the most delicious drink and wasn’t afraid to get a little creative with it. She also helped me with logistics so the timing of the food and my night would all line up. Thank you, Cheyenne! PS, you totally need to try the drink with sparkling water and a splash of pineapple juice — it was divine!
