Im in no way a picky eater at all but this was a major letdown. The potato salad, priced at $4, was nothing more than pre-packaged disappointment. The burger patty felt like it had just been pulled from the freezer, resulting in an unappetizing meal. The only redeeming factor was the fries, which were decent. Overall, I spent $18 for a meal that left a lot to be desired. I won't be returning.

This is for the one in Springfield, not sure why it isn't popping up on Google maps. Straight up, maybe the best fried catfish I've had, super fresh and awesome breading. Loved the fries and the bbq sauce was hitting. Love to get back and try some more soul food!

Just came in and had the catfish and let me just say. Socks are officially blown off! Amazing taste, perfect texture, nice and hot. 10/10 would recommend
I wish I would have been using my head to take a picture before hand but once I bit into my catfish I couldn’t stop!!!!! Hands down best fried fish I have had in a very very long time!!! 100 out of 10 would recommend!!!
Ordered shoestring fries- got shitty frozen fries that were not shoestring fries in any way. Not to mention my Philly had just about zero cheese or veggies and the meat was hard and overcooked, with zero flavor. Extremely let down. I will not eat here again.
We have only experienced this food truck once, but from the one experience I honestly don’t have anything negative to say. We ordered the Philly cheese steak basket (with no cream cheese, husband doesn’t like it) with waffle fries. After a few bites of the Philly, we both agreed that the it need some sort of a spread to tie it all together and even my husband agreed with me that the cream cheese spread would have been the icing on the cake. Luckily, the meat, peppers and cheese were still juicy enough that the sandwich wasn’t dry, and it had some good flavor to it, not bland. The waffle fries were really good as well, they reminded both of us of Arby’s curly fries, except waffle form. I believe we paid $13-14 for the meal, which isn’t bad. We would recommend try this place out and will be eating here again. And if not trying this place out, the Beer Garden in general is a great place to go for food with their multiple food truck options. Don’t worry about the cold as they have it nicely insulated and heaters on, making it a comfortable stay if you decide to eat there.
Food was edible, but horrible. Got the the Philly cheesesteak and the bun was stale AF. We checked the menu before driving down there and planned on what we were getting to find they didn't have any fries, onion rings and others. It was just duper disappointing. Doubt we will try it again, had super high hopes.

As a long time fan of Once Famous. I heard about their new location in Springfield. I ordered the cajun catfish basket. The filets looked like they had been dropped and were in small, broken pieces. The fish was raw and the fries were salted to the point of rancidity. Its like the young lady working there had no training whatsoever.

Springfield location was not good at all. There was barely any meat and no provolone in the Philly cheese steak. Not worth $14 in the slightest. Looked like a child made it.

It was me and my fiancés first time at the beer garden and first time trying Once Famous Grill. The gentleman working gave us amazing service. He had great attitude and went above and beyond. The philly cheese steak footlong was amazing! Definitely recommend this food truck.
Ate at the beergarden location and had a Philly and Cajun fries. As someone who has spent a lot of time out east eating them, I thought it was really tasty.

Went there with some family and was disappointed with every dish ordered. The chicken frickle basket had one solitary fried pickle on it and the guy said they ran out. No apology, no extra fries or anything, just an "oh well, you already paid." The Philly was a solid 70% bread with the equivalent of a couple steak-umm slices of meat on there, and the fries everywhere were soggy. I'd be more understanding if it was busy, but there were a total of 10 people at Beergarden aside from my group and most already had food. I'm all about supporting local, but even trash fast food wouldn't have been as disappointing as that place.
Went to the Springfield Main st Location, it was delicious!! The Catfish is wonderful!!!
