I am not sure who the owner of this Dairy Queen is but I hope you see this comment. Today 08-30-2020 the girl who was there at 2:pm and called herself the manager was completely out of line. I went through the drive through and ordered. The person was asking me multiple questions and did not give me a chance to alter my order. So I said can I say something please. When we got to the window to pay the "manager" came up to the window and proceeded to tell me I was rude for asking to say something while my order was being taken. My girlfriend was in the car with me and she couldn't believe that the girl said that about what I did. I was not rude by any means and did ask politely. I have worked in customer service for more than 16 years and if I were to say the things that the manger said to me and in the tone it was said I would have been fired.

NEVER GO TO THIS DQ! The staff has awful attitude, they are very self absorbed and do not care about customer service. This was not the first negative experience that I have had with this location. But this visit stood out negativley without any exceptations. It started with a 20 minuted long line, then when we FINALLY got to the Drive Thru ordering menu the women was nothing but rude. I had to correct her on my order many times, at the end when she read it to me for the third time it was finally correct. After another wait from the menu to the window, my family and I was met with nothing but cronic rudness. The lady read off my order once again, which was correct just like I had ordered it and so I contiuned to pay for my food. Once they handed me my food I noticed that they were missing one of the blizzards that I had ordered, when I asked for the other frozen treat she rolled her eyes and proceeded to tell me that I had not ordered another ice cream and that they would make it for me. After they had made the blizzard they told me that I would have to pay for it, even though I had already paid for the item. Having just wrapped up a long day I was not looking for an argument, so I proceeded to handover my credit card so I could go home to the rest of my family. They finally handed over the long awaited ice cream with yet another eye roll and I left. Before leaving the parking lot I looked over my order again noticing that I was missing my drink that I had paid for. Just done with the day and not wanting to wait in an even longer line I decided to drop it angrily. Needless to say I will NEVER go to this DQ again. This was not the first time that I was over charged and met with dissrespect from the staff. They always forget something in the order and never get it right. if you want to be met with a postive experience then aviod this location at all costs. The Coburg Road location is way better, with staff that genuinley cares about there customers!UPDATE: I revisted this location once again thinking that I would give them another shot! Worse decison I have ever made, this second time it did not better my opinion but worsen it severly. Once again it had an extremely long line. They did not get my order wrong at the Drive Thru this time, which was a pleasant suprise. The worst part is when I get to the window. I get there and they had a quality control worker stationed at the window, we were watching him through the glass and saw that he had sent back our blizzards three different times. Which we did not mind because we would rather get what we had ordered then get something that would not appease to our taste buds. Well finally after a significant wait at the window a lady bypassing your quality control guy, asked if it was okay that one of the ice creams was made only slightly incorrectly. We said sure, it was obvious that the rest of the crew behind him was forcing the order out the window so that they could finish the line and go home seen as how it was minutes away from closing. When we got home to eat these freshly made blizzards we notices that only one of them was made correctly. The other two were far from correct, in fact one of them had little to nothing in it. Needless to say I am very dissapointed in this DQ. I will next time drive out of my way to go to a Dairy Queen that can get it right, Coburg Road.

If I could give zero stars - I would. I have been frequenting this Dairy Queen (River Road location) since they opened (I'm old ) and will never go back. I was in the drive thru waiting for my $40 order and was asked to move to a parking spot to wait for the rest of my order. There were currently three vehicle occupying 2 parking spots (one was parked to the side - not in a spot). I was driving a Tahoe and said I didn't think it would fit in the one open spot they were directing me to. I was never asked to pull slightly forward. I was never asked to pull around to the front. I said I didn't think I would fit in the spot and the window closed and the person returned with my food a minute later. If that was the end - I would have gone on my merry way and all would have been fine BUT it didn't end there. The person that came back with my food (turns out she's the manager ) told me very rudely that when asked to pull forward I need to pull forward. I explained that I wouldn't fit in the spot and she told me it didn't matter and that I should have just pulled forward anyway. I tried to explain and she cut me off. I said her customer service was lacking and she told me to never come back. Ummmm...excuse me? When I got home I called and asked to speak to the manager. That's when I found out the person that told me never to come back WAS the manager. She again told me I should have pulled forward. I tried to explain once again that I was only told to pull into a spot that was too small for my vehicle - and never asked to just pull forward a little bit. And I say tried to explain because she told me she was too busy to talk to me, to never come back and then she HUNG UP on me when I asked her for her name. So not ok.

I wish I could give 0 stars Today 03/30/2020 at aprox 3:45pm I visited the 706 E 13th Avenue location in Eugene OR. My blizzard order had been made incorrectly, and upon reaching the window to get my correct order the young man said he would be needing the incorrect blizzard back in order to give me my proper one. Im sorry, what? Ive been a kitchen manager for 4 years and Ive never heard something more thoughtless and unsanitary. We are currently in a world wide pandemic, and all of Eugene is under quarantine with the exception of 'essential' workers. Workers like the young man you just took my germs all the way into that restaurant. To be perfectly clear: I had taken bites, I had licked the top of the icecream. My germs were there. And I made this perfectly clear to the young man, as well as the manager I spoke too. Said manager advised that they were 'disposing' of the incorrect item. A.K.A. Throwing it in the trash right there in the front of house where they make the blizzards.I watched him do it. Im also not sure if a proper handwash happened. I imparted on the manager how dangerous this situation is, and how uncomfortable I felt being a contributing party too it. She was only concerned with giving me the correct oder. Im disgusted. People are dying and all they care about is a stupid, money hungry policy.

I wish it had been possible to give a negative five because that's what they would have gotten. If you're into being treated rude and extremely disrespectful then by all means go to this Dairy Queen. Then you would actually be getting what you came for.

First time back here in a few years, but let me tell you - I've never felt so respected in my entire life. Not only did they have all the cars cleared out of the drive-thru upon our arrival, but they got the order exactly right. They even offered us spoons for our blizzards. I don't know what these other commenters are talking about, but this was probably, most likely, hands down the best dining experience we have ever had in our entire lives. They can literally do no wrong.

All I can say is FELICITY is awesome. I'm sure everyone at this HAPPY DQ is awesome, but I am specifically recognizing her because she is the first person that I spoke with when I came in. I feel like the person who greets the customer/initiate the dialogue-can most often not only set the tone for the interaction but they also get the blessing of (possibly) influencing someone's first impression in a positive way. In my case, she MADE my day and really made me smile! Keep up the great work Felicity. It's the "HOLIDAY SPIRIT"!

They're okay! Definetely not as bad as some of the reviews make them out to be. The staff seems poorly trained, but its not their fault. Probably poor management. The inside is usually never clean, and they're slow. Those are my only complaints. Otherwise, their food tastes like Dairy Queen food, so I can't complain lol!

They didn't have what I wanted almost ruined my day but the ice cream I did get was okay...the girl taking my order was super nice and friendly

The Employee asked for my order and then proceeded to ignore it and ask me to repeat the entire order. She looked like she was 12 years old when I got to the window. She hadn't heard me either of the 2 times i told her that i had coupons for free items and just told me my total to which my response was to just hand her the coupons before handing over any cash. Food was good and service was quick after the ordering and paying part were accomplished.

We purchased three blizzards 5/21/2018 and we keep giving them a chance to get better but no success. I guarantee they could not do the upside down test! It will be back to the Dairy Queen off Coburg road.

So in the day and age of customer service matters because people have choices where they spend their money at the River Road location the snotty cashier at the window and the manager that can only seem to quote what their owners say we were told this.... the owners for 3 locations in this area will post promotions to entice guests to come to their locations but then choose not to participate at the River Road location. All this over not honoring $1.00 off all Blizzards until 3/31 as the advertisement on Facebook says...what a bait and switch tactic. I will be sharing this with all my friends and family to not patron this location ever again. Wow! Such great customer service over a dollar!

The manager Jacob told me that I had to order my resses royal blizzard the way it is on the menu. I don't like the brownies and as a regular customer should have the right to substitute it. I ordered it way I like it the other day from a different employee. I just wanted to go out to ice cream with my son. What ever happened to the customer is always right. I've never heard of not being able to switch ingredients in a blizzard! Terrible service! I won't be going back

Food is always cold and drive through line takes forever. Hard to pull in an out of parking lot. Also they have been rude to me a couple times. Will not come back to this location.
