My wife and I went in February during the logging conference. We made reservations and had to wait a solid hour after our time. I was getting ready to leave just as they came to seat us. We were seated in some back room. It had the look and feel of a storage room. The appetizers and meals were very good. My wife had the Dungeness mac and cheese and I had prime rib. Both were delicious. Our service was outstanding but the seating was sub par. I will go again with the hopes of better seating.

Service is always excellent even when they have a full house. The service was very friendly and attentive. It has a good feel to it.

When the pandemic hit, rather than work through the challenge, they simply fired most of their staff. I’ll never go back. To whoever represents this cesspool, your response isn’t needed or appreciated.

Rather than find a way to deal with the pandemic, they simply laid off all their employees. I’ll never go back.

The salad was dressed perfectly. The tomato infused olive oil paired nicely with the fresh bread. Beer on tap and wine was fairly priced and delicious. The main courses were soooooo good and presentation was very appealing. To top it off we were given a complimentary dessert, which was also very good.

Food was good. Service was good. Building was outstanding. If looking at cool old stuff is your thing, this is the place to be.

We know we will consistently get a very good meal here--we always try to get a seat in the train car, as the server Shelli has been there for quite a while and her attentive and personal touch add to the overall experience. It is a rare occasion when we do not order the Green Goddess Salad. It is a given that when our son is with us we end the meal with the Mud Pie. The bar continues to buzz through the night. Be sure to have reservations in advance during home Oregon football games---the place is normally packed. Check out my photos for more details.

It brings me back to my childhood I lived in a town where the train went by my house twice a day they've left some of the rustic gold style with a fancy five-star touch. Food's great services great. Gone here about four times now and will continue too.

Reading the reviews for Oregon Electric Station, I was super excited to try the place out. I ended up recommending the place based solely on the reviews for a 29th birthday spot. 4 of us went (2 couples). Our bill was $250. While I never have spent this much on dinner before, I would have been fine paying that amount if all the food had lived up to the price we paid. The birthday girl ordered the Rack of Lamb which was served completely raw (not joking, the waitress even commented). They politely did take it back to have it cooked more but was overall tasteless and not a lot of meat after it came back, totally not worth the $38 we were charged. The Prime Rib was also undercooked when it was requested as medium. On the other hand, the bread and olive oil served before dinner was delicious. The Mozzarella sticks were cooked to perfection, and were served with what tasted like homemade marinara, so good! Crab & Arichoke dip was also a big hit amongst the table! The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was hands down the BEST that I've had in my entire life! The signed birthday card and free dessert was a really great touch. At the end of the day we all agreed we definitely would come back for the Alfredo & appetizers!

Come here for the ambiance. Cool decor, great lighting, and interesting history. The service was attentive. The wedge salad was really good, a bit too much dressing. Get the prime rib medium. Medium rare still had a heartbeat.

We had dinner at OES with friends prior to attending a musical at the Hult Center. Our dinners were very good and the restaurant is very convenient to the Hult. Two of us had the pork chop and it was delicious. The stone ground mustard sauce was excellent. The other two dinners were the pork pot roast and the salmon. Both excellent. The service was very good so we had plenty of time for a leisurely meal prior to the musical. I highly recommend the OES.

One of Eugene’s long time restaurants. They have a great bar area with good drinks plus lots of large spaces for group get togethers but you need to reserve ahead for one of the private rooms. Seating in the restaurant area is very quaint in old railroad cars! The food quality is ok that’s why the 4 stars. Parking is excellent!

We have dined at the Station four times in the past two months. On the second occasion I had to send my prime rib back to the kitchen as it was a terrible piece of meat and cooked to the consistency of shoe leather. The third visit was good but not exceptional given the prices. On the fourth visit we had to send the chicken Cesar salad back because the chicken was dry and the consistency of a hockey puck. It will be a while before we go there again.
