They use ice cream off the floor.
Omg I just heard that they scrape dropped ice cream off the floor during clean up to recycle back into the new ice cream , and they believe that is saving the earth. Gross and has to violate all sort of food manufacturing health code, they should be ashamed of them selves.
Leave it to Costco to introduce me to new products I never knew existed. As I rounded the ice cream freezer section, I noticed an affordable box of ice cream sandwiches. Enter this review.Parent company Oregon Ice Cream consists of offspring Cascade Glacier and Alden's Organic companies, both in the dessert business. Alden's Organic sells a variety of ice cream, dairy-free sweets and frozen fruit treats available in bars, sandwiches and containers.THE GOODS:Alden's Organic Vanilla Bean Round SammiesThe box sold at Costco consists of 18 Fat Boy-like ice cream sandwiches but round in shape and filled with vanilla bean ice cream vs. plain vanilla. To be honest, if I did a blind taste test between the two, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. But, it's good knowing that Alden's version is organic and free of high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners and flavors, GMO's, carrageenan (a thickener) and antibiotics. Another plus is that they aren't pricey either at around $10.OVERALL:Even if you purchase this at a chain or big box store, you're still supporting local!
It's a super tight fit. My first time being here, had two guys help me back in, pretty thankful for that. Check in was fast the guy who checked me in was super nice. Got loaded fast, I would come back but hopefully not. Not because of the employees but because of myself lol. Don't like tight areas makes me nervous ?
Good ice-cream sammich's.
Awesome tasting ice cream, some of the best organic ice cream in the United States.
You have the best ice cream on the market and in the USA but you broke my heart when you stop making the orange sherbet in the half gallon container
Is. A good place for working. I have 1 year and I liked.
Was only there once for a job interview so far. Hahaha.. but everyone was very friendly!!
Your appointment means nothing here.Scheduled to get loaded at 10:00.10:40 and I am not even at the dock yet.Super tiny yard to back with a 53 foot trailer so I had to block traffic on the street in back into the yard. Make sure you have it at -20F. Only two docks and seems like only one is working. Reading previous comments about high employee turnaround rate explains why nobody cares about this place-they don’t pay well their employees.

Stop putting GUAR GUM, XANTHAN GUM and LOCUST BEAN in your products! SOOO unhealthy! You’re an organic ice cream manufacturer! Why would you put this nasty, unhealthy stuff in your products??
Very enjoyable atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and conscious about social distancing.
My experience wasn't so great. I came in to check on an application and was told that due to Covid they are trying to keep people from coming in to a minimum. This is understandable it was the abrupt way in how the lady said it. Like I had Covid and was contaminating the office.
If you're so lucky to deliver here in the early morning then you are okay..... because you have to enter their loading docks From a semi busy Street.... they only have two docks and if both of them are taken then you have to sit there on the street in the Middle.... also it is rather tight for a 53-foot combos to make a u-turn.... daycabs do not have this problem because they have no sleeper / no fairings
Good place to work if you don't mind working hard. It has a high turnover rate because people don't like to work hard but it's a solid regular job, take it or leave it. Good ice cream.
