Similar experience to other customers here. Ignored, snapped at, extremely rude behavior, no effort to de-escalate, they helped the people behind me before me, and got angry when I made myself undoubtedly visible and heard. I thought it was just me, but after reading these reviews, I saw a pattern not only here but also many restaurants in eugene/Springfield. A little critical think, humility, and efficient communication can work wonders here, but it's seems they employ the type of people who have no chill or are selective as to who they serve. I would like to see them do better in the way they treat people, but also, it could have been a long day for them as well...

Me and my husband only eat out once every 4-6 weeks. It’s a splurge for us. The last 3 times we’ve gotten food at this location they have shorted one of us on the teriyaki chicken. I’ve never complained since mistakes happen and they always seem busy. This time we went in and stood at the counter to order. The lady working ignored us for awhile. Then someone came up behind us and she asked him if he’d been helped and helped him. I was shocked. But I waited patiently. Then she asked my husband what he wanted and he ordered a plate. She walked away before taking my order and filled several online orders while I waited. There was no one else behind me so it wasn’t super busy. She finally came back to us and asked if we wanted something else. She snapped and was quite rude. I told her yes, I’d also like to eat and would like a plate please. She gave the correct amount of chow mein and orange chicken and only gave half the teriyaki chicken. This is the 3rd time one of us has gotten shorted by an entire chicken thigh. It’s supposed to come with 2 and I received one. The online orders she filled before me had two and my husband got two. But I only got one. I’m not sure if they do this to control profits since it seems to happen often. But if I’m paying full price for a meal I would like to receive the entire meal I’m paying for. I would have just taken the food I got shorted on and not complained for the 3rd time except the rest of the experience was horrible as well. She ignored us, helped the person behind us before us, left us waiting when it wasn’t needed since it wasn’t busy, snapped at us because apparently she didn’t think we both wanted to eat, and then shorted me on my food.

Seeing first in line and watching the employee see a line of 10+ people decided break was a better idea. Leaving one person to man the counter and then being g ignored for over 10 minutes while she did online orders was ridiculous. Will not be back and urge others to ho elsewhere it's not worth the wait

I've been here a few times and I've always enjoyed the service the food and how quick it is to get my food and everything else This is my favorite Panda Express to go to in Eugene.

However my only complaint that I have is I went there earlier today for a job interview at 3:45 got there a couple hours early just to walk around and get out of My apartment and have something to do and when it came closer to that time I walked over to the counter and let a guy behind the register know that I was there for an interview he said the manager wasn't there but he was going to let her know and that really threw me off and frustrated me because I have been looking forward to the interview for a couple days and to be told that the manager wasn't there was really hurtful and heartbreaking for me. I had a feeling in my heart that this was going to be it the job that I was looking forward to getting hopefully, And I would love to send a message to the manager at this Panda Express at I would love to come in again for a job interviews really soon and have a second chance to have an interview with them and share why I want to work there. It would really mean a lot to me and I hope to hear back soon from them. Thank you guys for the food and the service and I hope to have a second chance again. 😀😊😁😎🙏

We take kids often to mall to play and they love the food. The problem is, it doesn't matter the time there are always multiple dishes not ready. It can be peak lunch/dinner time or in between and we have to wait 10 minutes for something to be cooked. Very frustrating with hungry toddlers.

Cold, uncooked, overcooked, and very slow customer service. Had at least 8 empty slots for food and selection was horrible.

We have been to this location twice now and both times they hardly have any selections of meats to chose from and both time they were not very busy l. Will not go back a third time becuase the prices are high for what you get to chose from because half of everything is gone. Very disappointed in the Valley River location they need better management

This is at the Valley River Center Mall location in Eugene, Oregon. I've been to other Panda Expresses and they always have plenty of food ready to go and be served. Seems like every time I go to this location in the mall, most of the pans are empty of food and it'll be 10 to 15 minutes for more food to come out. So I get noodles that are mostly gone but have a ton of onions instead. Yuck. Then the bowl isn't even full.

Other locations I've been to, when a pan like the noodles or orange chicken, etc. get about a quarter/halfway empty, they yell for more noodles, chicken, etc. to be made and they come out before the pan is empty.

But this Valley River Center Mall location constantly runs out of noodles, chicken, etc. and then you have to wait for it to be made. Not sure who's running this place but I think I'll start going to a different restaurant in the mall.

Approximately 2 weeks ago, I ordered a medium drink to go with my order, and I was told the ice machine was broken and that they didn't have any ice. This is about the third or fourth time I've been told this. So I said give me a coke without ice. I sit down and take a drink of it and it takes like soap water. I don't know if the machine was cleaned with soap and not rinsed out or what. But it went straight into the garbage and I went to Subway and got a drink there instead. My friend, who was with me, thought I was exaggerating what the Coke tasted like. So he took a drink and almost spit it out. And again my bowl was mostly onions with a few noodles and I had to wait for the orange chicken to be cooked.

Until something changes with this location which seems to be ran by teenagers since I've never seen anyone who resembles an adult there, I will go elsewhere in the mall to eat.

However, I will continue to go to the other Panda Express locations because they know what they're doing but this place obviously needs a new manager.

This has been going on for quite a while now. I thought it was time to say something about it. I'll be posting this on Google reviews as well.

Thank you for your time. And the orange chicken and noodles are really really good when they're actually available for me to get or my friend who was with me.

Kid-friendliness: It's a mall.

Just 2 pics of a terrible experience... wanted double chow mein and got half rice instead... for sauces we got a dozen of every sauce except sweet and sour sauce..the 1 we wanted... every time we order from here it's a terrible experience. They just don't gaf about what their doing. It's a shame VRC location is the closest and only location that will deliver.

The worst Panda Express I've ever experienced. Lacking over half the menu items making it impossible to order anything. Disgusting sanitary practices and a filthy assembly line. This location should be ashamed to wear the Panda Express name...
