Pasteleria Colin is a gem. I ordered both the pork and chicken tamales, and will definitely be going back for more! The masa is flavorful and not too dense, the meats were tender, and the salsas were great as well. I also recommend the nuez (walnut) cake. Both the tamales and cake slices are large and high quality, so it feels like a great value. The only thing I would change about my visit would be arriving earlier so I could have tried one of the tamales with rajas and queso. :)

My son always gets tamales on his lunch break at North. He finally brought me one to try. That was the best pork tamale I ever had! I have lived Mexico and el salvador and traveled south & central America and I ain't never had a tamale that good! I'm hooked!

I wish I had taken pictures, but now all that's left is an empty corn husk and a little bit of frosting. The cake and tamale were great and I'll be going back. Super nice ladies working there too.

Best fresh tamales I've never had! So much flavor and the pork flavor is to die for. And really huge 1/2 lb is the size of your hand! Even fresh green n red salsa thats about medium spicy.
