Do yourself a favor and order something other than biscuits and gravy. The service was good, there is lottery, open for breakfast, nice enough people. Terrible gravy.

Excellent soups, I was very pleased. I have begun substituting soup for fries and I have been very happy with my choices.

Great dining and drinks! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Has become a consistent watering hole when visiting Eugene for horse events. Just down the road from the Oregon Horse Center. Make this a stop on your horse show weekend. Note, it is adults only.

The broasted chicken is worth making the special trip to Prairie Schooner. I was disappointed, however, that my $3 DrPepper had the minty taste of the soap used to clean the soda dispenser. After cleaning, those nozzles are supposed to be purged until only soda comes out. Not enough people are trained to know to do that, so occasionally, a customer will get that soap residue in their soda and spend the rest of the day with an upset stomach and multiple visits elsewhere until the gaseous upset passes. Soap in the soda can happen at just about any restaurant, so I should have know to stick with drinking water instead.

Go there for the chicken. You won't be sorry. Just don't order a soda there, and you should enjoy your experience there.

I've included photos of their menu from 10/24/2024.

Tried a Philly cheese steak sandwich and a cheese burger. Both were okay but would not say great. We were there late afternoon, so not crowded.

Unusual today. Normally they have great food. NOT TODAY!!!
I was so disappointed today. Extremely bland and disappointing 😞. New/tired cook? I don't know. If it was my 1st time trying them, I would not go back. It was awful 😖.
There was only a couple pieces of sausage in and on my sausage omelet. The gravy was watered down. Eggs were nearly a cream/white color where I expected to be a normal omelet color. No flavor. Even the cheese was a creamy color. I tried adding salt but it didn't help. I'm even debating giving it to my dogs. Like I said, this is extremely unusual. I hope it is not the new-normal !!

I go here every Saturday and Sunday morning for a beer and breakfast. I'm never disappointed with the food or service.
