I'd never had pupusas, they're amazing but I must say that this place has the BEST TORTAS in town, hands down. Also, go easy on that red sauce... I almost exploded from the heat!

Not the same :(Unfortunately, pupusas were not as good as original Carlito's. We were so excited to grab lunch there but the pupusas tasted more like Mexican food than Salvadorean.1. The pupusas revueltas had Mexican blend cheese not quesillo or at least plain mozzarella.2. The curtido was dried, no apple cider vinegar whatsoever.3. Salvadorean tomato sauce was actually salsa roja for tacos, and very spicy. To top it off, I had order 6 pupusas! Big mistake!I will not take down the previous review I made on the Original Carlito's because that one was really good, but extremely disappointed with Carlito's 2 :(

Wow! Incredible. Best pupusas I’ve had yet! I got a plain cheese one, a jalapeño and cheese and a loroco and cheese. So so so good. My husband got two carne asada tacos and a carne asada wet burrito. Such good flavor! We devoured it. We will be back and hopefully soon!

Found hair in our food. We waited over 25 minutes for our burritos to be made. Carne Asada had no flavor at all. Go elsewhere if you want quality mexican food.

Had fish, carnitas, and carne asada tacos. Generous portion with lots of meat but no flavor. Carnitas was dry, fish was moist but no flavor and no cabbage so texture was off. Also sodas are in cans, not the kind made with cane syrup. Will not be back. Maybe the pupusas are good, I’ll never know.
I want to start by saying, YUMM!. This food tastes beautiful, I haven't tasted better burritos and nachos. but I want to get a breakdown of the exquisite cuisine and courteous service, ( you can find them at 7th and chambers ). 1. the food The nachos were very, very delicious ( normal nacho platter is 7.00$ ) with jalapenos, cheese, a meat of your choice ( I suggest the carnitas ), cheese and more. I also had the crispy burrito with al pastor, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and more, The meat was well marinated and the tortilla was crispy and wasn't too hard or soft. 2. the service Very nice people, The food is cooked and served quickly. Their food is reasonably priced, and there is seating right next to making it a 5-foot walk to the order window. you can find El Pupuseria Las Comadres at 760 chambers, the to-go order number is (541) 514-3896. share my review with others to tell them about this El Salvadorean gem! Bye!

These pupusas are so good and at only $3.50 per I can not recomend them enough. I get the jalapeño and cheese most of the time!
