Currently they are struggling to maintain paper products & other items. It's not their fault because folks are over buying.
Customer service is great. Convenient location. Fresh food. Lots of ready to eat options. Always great prices with club card!! Starbucks coffee inside a plus as well!!
Arrogant management... Found a Range Rover with a trailer parked in the fire lane right outside front doors of store (also blocking entirety of sidewalk - a violation of the Americans with Disability Act). And wouldn't you know it, it belonged to the Store Director (he announced himself as such as I was photographing his wonderful parking job). Plenty of other places to park it.
Pharmacist is rude and arrogant. Trying to get a prescription filled is like pulling teeth. One of the pharmacists didn't know the difference between 2 different medications. Said there were no refills when it clearly states on the bottle there are 2 refills. When you call them to speak to a person they hang up on you. They're terrible!
My wife and I came into the Safeway Bakery desperate for an emergency Wedding Cake for my brother-in-law and his bride. Bryce and Sam went above and beyond in making a fresh custom made wedding cake in 20 minutes! It was decorated beautifully and complete with airbrushed flowers and decorations. Bryce and Sam went above and beyond and when the bride saw the cake it brought tears to her eyes. AMAZING! These two bakers deserve a raise!
from the moment you attempt to enter this ultra tight parking lot things go downhill. always busy but never enough people working. sometimes it smells like rotting meat and homeless people are everywhere!
Take care of your staff. Take care of your costomers. you do neither.
To the dumbass who works at the Safeway on 18th....1 you shouldn't walk and text in a busy freaking parking lot, especially not even looking for oncoming cars 2 you're welcome for honking and yelling at you to look up because someone could have hit you and f*** you for spitting on my carand to be clear I only honked because you basically almost walked into my driving car
Do you wish your shopping experience more closely resembled the morning after at a frat house? Then this is the place for you. Rife with self-important college students blocking every aisle, as they try to figure out whether or not they've "hooked-up" with the person at the other end, you'll feel like you're living the dream of every low-budget "American Pie" knock off. Then, as a bonus, you get to extend this joyous experience as you wait no fewer than 15 minutes in line to escape due, in no small part, to the unfathomable habit of Safeway to employ as few cashiers as possible
