I'm so glad to have Same Same in River Rd. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. Both my friend and I loved our meals. Unique, fresh, super tasty, and a reasonable price. Worth the drive if you don't live in River Rd area.

We were really surprised by this delightful gem! We went out for a date night to try something new. I had not been to this location in over a decade and didn’t know it was different. It was GREAT food. So tasty and well flavored! Great prices. Lots of yummy options. SOoo many gf and vegan options. They had zero problems accommodating allergies. It’s was a great experience. ? will be going there again and probably bringing friends.
Vegetarian options: Massive vegan options! It’s so cool! Even a dessert option! Their vegan Panna cotta was SO good.
Dietary restrictions: We have some extreme allergies and they had no problems making sure we were safe and taken care of. They weren’t off put by it and we felt very at ease.
Kid-friendliness: Open seating and different options. Super attenative and accommodating.

Met long lost relatives here. The environment was great for conversation. Food all looked good. They did not have the beef rendang that I was craving from the menu, the pork dish I had was generous, flavourful and still not rendang!

We know Same Same from the DaNang food cart (which we LOVE) and finally got out to enjoy Same Same. The interior is very clean and attractive. All of the dishes had great and subtle flavors. We did not get Pho (we will next time). Our server was excellent. We will be return customers!

Found this great place by accident. The food is different than what I was looking for.BUT GREAT ❤️Great atmosphere and healthy food choices.
I can NOT even begin to state how impressive the food is here. Every scent has a different bouquet. Every dishes taste has its own unique celebration. The ambiance of the place is only outdone by the talent exquisitely put into the food. The world needs to eat here!
If you haven’t been here yet then you are missing out! Their menu is AMAZING and everything is very delicious. 10/10!!

Cold… from the atmosphere to the actual temperature. They really need to do something to make this little strip mall restaurant feel warmer. We were freezing while we waited an hour for our food. We felt bad for our server because she was doing her best to keep people happy while the food took forever. We saw some people leaving. That never looks good. Now, when the food finally arrived (just before we walked out), it was very good. Hot and tasty. We probably won’t go back. But if you try this place, bring your winter coat and plan to be there a while.

While there was a bit of a wait for food, it was WELL worth it. The atmosphere was inviting and our server was very friendly. I don’t think you could go wrong with a single item on the menu, because it’s clear these folks know how to finesse some serious flavor. But I can confirm that you won’t wan’t to miss the Rendang Curry Puff appetizer…? We’ll be adding this spot to our top five favorites in the Eugene area and you should too.

Made a reservation on Saturday 6:30 for 4 people to celebrate my birthday. It was actually quite busy, this was my 2nd time coming to Same Same.We ordered our food after the waitress said the kitchen was quite behind on orders but I was excited to eat here again. Come to find out after we placed our food and app orders they were out of basically everything that we ordered. They only offer champagne by the bottle that costs $60 which was quite annoying. Also, they took Beef Rendang off the menu which was probably the biggest mistake they could have made. I can’t say I’ll be back because of this experience unfortunately. They are a new business and have a lot of issues to resolve before I think they could be really successful. The staff was kind and apologetic but we ended up leaving and going to Ta Ra Rin and had a great dinner with affordable drinks instead.
